The room was beautifully appointed, very new, and had the most comfortable beds with luxurious linens. The location is in the heart of Ghent, where it is easy to get around on foot where ever you want to go.
We loved everything, but for some travelers the lack of a lift may be off-putting. The staff (who work in the bakery) are genuinely kind and will bring up your bags if you ask.

It's a nice boutique hotel; clean and beautiful. We were there during the heatwave, and the air conditioning was great. The ground floor is a pastry shop that belongs to the same owner, and that was also a great pastry shop.
There was some noise from drunk people in the streets during the night, but I guess that's a common thing when you're in the center of the city.

Check in Monday (when reception/shop is closed) was slightly clunky, but they were very good at sorting this out
