Very centrally located, a short walk from the Belfry. No keys were needed but you were provided with a code. Communication was good as they allowed us to leave our bags early when we arrived to Ghent and provided us with extra coffee pods when asked. The room was well equipped that included a TV with some English channels which was nice when a rest was needed after long travel or sightseeing. It was located next to a wine bar which was very quiet on the first night but a bit noisier on the second, however this had quietened down by 11pm anyway. The room was very clean and had window shutters which was great for sleeping. I would have no hesitation in staying here my next time in Ghent.
One side of the bed was a bit soft and I felt like I sunk into it. I’m a very petite person so not sure if the mattress may need changed soon or if it is meant to be that soft.

Location and quietness
Dark room ,due to the wine bar outside area we kept windows and curtains shut

Nice shower and comfy bed
The room was too dark - no draws to put clothes/underwear. Court yard customers sat too close to Caramel room.
