On entering the hotel we were greeted by friendly reception team, when we got into our disgusting room we were informed

The location is close to Ghent

Wood chip wall paper, urine had been left in our toilet, had forgotten to leave us our Coffee/tea sachets when I called them about it i was told to go to reception and collect them rather than someone bring them to us early in the morning, also mould on walls. Hotel is definitely not worth anywhere near the £175 a night that we were charged, avoid this hotel!!

Good clean hotel, excellent location, toilet too small, poor English breakfast served too late

Perfect Location, comfortable rooms and beds, cleanliness, a decent sized shower with a good shower head

The toilet bowl was too small for a normal man. If you sit normally, your penis rubs up against the porcelain, go too far back and accidents could happen. We only found the kettle for the tea the following morning, after we' d used the coffee machine for hot water. (the kettle was tucked away in a corner on top of the drinks refrigerator) The breakfast was disappointing. We were told it was served until 09:30. We went down for a full English Breakfast at 09:00. At that time, only (hot dog)sausages, bacon, baked beans and something that looked like an American pancake were available. From about 09:15, further dishes were brought out, each dish about 5 minutes after the last one, until well after the 09:30 closing time. Then, everything was available that should have been there from the start. Not happy! Also, there was just one jug of orange juice which was constantly empty. That wasn't monitored by the staff and we had to go find them every time, then wait until they came back with a fresh jug which was again almost instantly empty. I hate to think what sort of breakfast the earlier guests had, and because it was all served sporradicaly and too late, how much food was wasted.

The location is excellent.

Room a little tired. The room was on the 3rd floor, a long walk to get to it, and it was over a busy road so very noisy and we had to keep the window closed to sleep.

Brilliant location for centre of Ghent.

Excellent location and parking. Nice to sit outside to have a drink. Good cleaning and daily dry, clean towels Good breakfast, liked having a fresh banana and kiwi each morning. Pastries were delicious. Liked walking from hotel towards the square where markets were held, less busy and some great restaurants.

Music in bar area bit loud. Would be nice to buy ice creams as it was very hot. Hair dryer was totally useless, no heat or power and couldn't use.

Good value rooms in a great location

The location was perfect! Right in the middle of everything. Entrances on two ends of the hotel so you can go out on two different streets depending on where you want to go. The rooms were a very good size. The shower was nice. There was a pool. And the hotel was connected to a bar and restaurant that were nice.

The only things I didn't like was that the A/C didn't work very well. It was very hot outside, and the room barely cooled things off. Also, the hotel is a little on the dated, or old, side.

Superb location, right in the historic centre of Ghent. The staff were so welcoming, so friendly and very helpful indeed. Our room was luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. I don't normally sleep well in hotel beds, but I did here. The room was very clean and the toiletries were really nice. The breakfast was great too. Easy to park, and the car park was fine, not too cramped if your car is normal sized, and you have spatial awareness and know how to drive and manoeuvre it correctly.

The only thing is that there is a rather limited menu at the bar. Don't misunderstand me, the food we did have was good quality, and the bar staff are lovely. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, but after a long journey it would be nice to have the option of a proper meal on the first evening. It isn't a criticism, more a suggestion that it would be great to have more food available in the evening.

it was way too hot in the room and there was no way to change the heating option (receptionist said "open the window") very noisy (people screaming in the street) even with the windows closed we could hear everything, we did not sleep well at all !

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms and fantastic pool. The location was perfect to explore Ghent.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian only zone, but as the hotel did not notify us of this, we drove around for ages trying to find other routes. The pillows were awful and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was cold and not worth the money we paid.
