A good location to stay in Gent with friendly personnel but if you love space rent a bigger room.

The location is really perfect and personnel is very friendly.

The room we had was a bit small and we heard the machines for the building quite a lot (ventilation and heating). Probably the corner where we stayed.

Excellent location in historical district of Gent

The location was excellent! The hotel is located in the heart of the historical district and directly across from the Christmas Market. It was about a 10 min walk from the tram to the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly from the front desk, housekeeping and dining. There is a bar and lounging area to relax in after a long day. They did allow us early check in once we became an Ibis member

Good location, sightseeing areas are in walking distance. The room is a bit bigger than I expected.

The only thing is noice from the traffic affected my sleep since the room is near the main road. Other than that, all is good.

brilliant for an overnight stay with a fantastic breakfast

The breakfast was exceptional and the location was marvelous - finding and parking in the underground car park was a bit precarious but ideal for our stay.

Driving into the underground car park was a it scary as very tight and an awkward angle, only made worse as I was not driving my car but once we were in, it was fine.

Perfect location for stay in Ghent to see all attractions. Was clean and very comfortable.

Location is amazing, literally walk outside and your at the cathedral. Great selection for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable although on the small side.

If your room is on the cathedral and street side, the windows do not keep the noise out and so we asked to change to a room on other side of hotel, which staff were happy to do and this was perfect.

Hospitality at its best

On check in staff extremely friendly helpful . Room was exceptional clean with comp water and cookies. Key card was great . You could only use lift and public toilets with it .very safe . We went to bar for food and there the girl was so helpful. During our stay we were very helpful staff . We hadn't in used ibis in about 15 years but now it will be our first choice for city breaks .

Fantastic location within walking distance of almost everything you want to see in Gent

Unfortunately it can become quite noisy outside till early morning hours with so may restaurants close by. It was quite warm so we slept with our window open

Kind helpful staff and a great location

I took my elderly mother to Ghent for a few days holiday, and all the staff were very helpful and kind to her. The hotel has 2 lifts so all areas are easy to access. The location of the hotel by the cathedral is ideal and it was not too noisy.

Initially we were given rooms on different floors but as soon as I explained on arrival that I needed to be on the same floor as my mother they immediately changed the allocation so this was possible.

Of all the cities in Belgium - Ghent is the pick. Better than Brugge and Brussels.

Close to tram. friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast and ok evening meals - reheated in the oven. Supermarket close as well. Right at th e main attractions and boat ride easy walk.

Car park exit was difficult but a member of staff helped the process enormously.
