Clean, cozy hotel with a lovely breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great — everything was tasty and fresh. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. We didn’t interact much with the staff apart from check-in and check-out, but everything was smooth and friendly. One thing we absolutely loved was the coffee machine at the entrance. Free tea and coffee available 24/7 was such a nice touch. After walking around in the winter cold, coming back to the hotel and warming up with a hot drink felt really comforting. The hotel was very clean, which we truly appreciated.

As a small note, the toilet paper quality could be improved, and having slippers in the room would make the stay even nicer.

Great spot to stay when exploring Ghent!

Amazing location, super close to all the great things to see in Ghent. We loved that we could step outside and be amongst shops, cafes and not have to rely on trams/ trains.

The staff were super friendly and accomodating. The free coffee and tea were great!

I’d highly recommend this hotel.

It was bright, modern and perfectly located. The staff were lovely and very professional. I particularly liked the provision of hot and cold drinks and there was a good selection of food at breakfast.

Avoid B&B HOTEL Gent Centrum

Hotel is central

Booked and confirmed deluxe adjacent rooms for a family meet up coming from different countries. I booked months in advance to ensure we could be accommodated. All bookings and requirements were confirmed by the hotel. Told on arrival not only were our rooms not adjacent but on separate floors. This was not suitable as we had a two year old child. Asked for solutions Then offered an "upgrade " with rooms at least on the same floor. I was certainly given a lesser room/ rooms without explanation. The worst hotel customer experience I've encountered. It seemed like we were an inconvenience in looking for what we had booked, confirmed and paid for. The whole situation was just exhausting. Upset our family reunion. No apologies offered

A comfortable and welcoming hotel in the city centre

This is a beautiful hotel. The decor is peaceful, it is very quiet despite being in a central location. It is close to shops, restaurants, cafes, canals, graffiti street. Very clean, welcoming and helpful staff. Love the free coffee/hot chocolate in the comfortable sitting area

Excellent location, clean and very reasonable prices. The coffee machine in the lounge was much appreciated.

Breakfast was very basic/poor. The soap/shampoo was almost empty and was not refilled during my 3 night stay. There were no slippers or iron board.

Location is super, middle in the city center, close to many shops and restaurants. Quiet at night. Room is clean and beds/pillows are comfortable. Coffee/tea/water facility at the lobby is really nice. Also luggage room/lockers(with fee) is handy. Breakfast is simple but good enough.

It couldn't be better.

The hotel location is just perfect, everything is reachable by walking, good restaurants and cafés are nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is soo clean, they use cleaning detergents that semlls like lemon suger and green apple. Room had a coffee machine, Coffee & Co are also available for free in the reception.

The room and bathroom size were okay, yet there were no shelf or any space in the bathroom to put all personal things - like face cream. the furniture in the room were bigger than room size, like the mattress and the roll-chair, for two people the room was a bit small to move inside it.

Comfortable stay with our dogs

The location was great. While we are traveling what we expect is a clean hotel in a good location that accept dogs. So, this hotel met our needs. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 dogs and enjoyed during our stay.

The towels’ smell was not good. Also we saw small stain in our bed sheet and the curtain. But generally the cleanliness was quite enough.

The location was amazing

No fridge, no ice, no helpfull staf. Booked a bigger room with a view but the room couldn't have been smaller amd the view was non existant. Had a balcony but that was blocked off.

We enjoyed our stay in Ghent!

Breakfast was good. We have just spent 15 nights in hotels. Your breakfast was nutritious but the most meagre. The hotel, staff and location were very good. My main complaint was that the bed sheets were too small for the mattresses. I found I was constantly waking up to make sure the sheet covered the mattress. It is unhygienic to not have a bedsheet completely under oneself.

The mattresses are king sized and the bedsheets are queen sized. See comment above,

Average Budget Hotel

Location. Staff at reception were pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Shower in the disabled room was not so good as the shower in non disabled room in Antwerp sister hotel.

We did not request a disabled room, and we found it not a particularly nice room. The shower curtain over the disabled shower made for a cold experience. In contrast to the sister hotel in Antwep there were a poor range of teas on offer in this hotel (or they had not been replenished). The coffee machine needed emptied also. Frankly if we had stayed at B&B Ghent first we would not have chosen to stay at B&B Antwerp.

Overall a very good place to stay

The location is spot on: literally in the centre of the city and a 10-15 minute walk from all attractions. It’s an easy 8 minute tram ride into the city. Spotless room, excellent Wifi. Outlets by the side of the bed. Really like there are no key cards but a code to enter the room. Quiet street at night as well and quiet hotel.

It’s a tiny room but adequate. The reception is… terse at best. Not the warmest but also not unfriendly. The sparkling water station was not fixed the entire stay there even tho I remarked to the front desk about it. The front desk staff definitely does a fair amount of time smoking outside when not at the front desk.

No coffee and tea in the room but available in the lobby which was okay. The pillows are made of concrete.
