Lovely private hotel in a quiet wooded area, and offered a complimentary beer as we checked in. We were served a wonderful fresh breakfast prior to leaving.
Some minor aspects of the hotel room would benefit from maintenance and decoration.

If you love going on pleasant hikes, the hotel is in the best location surrounded by easy, beautiful and quiet trails. The room we got was very spacious and clean and the beds were huge. Each bedroom came with their own smart TV. Everything was very comfortable and I am quite sure our dog also enjoyed it very much. The hearty breakfast was very worth the money!
We couldn't find the hairdryer and also the things to wash kitchen cutlery and stuff were not all present (eg. There was washing liquid but no sponge or drying towel) Since it was New Year's Day, it was quiet at the hotel. I'm sure we would have been able to ask the staff but the frontdesk had already closed. So best to look through the room when checking in to see if there is anything you might be missing.

the flat is very spacious and clean. we always book here every year to visit our relative in the same village. it´s our first to book this flat and we are really happy about it. we will definetely come and stay here again.
if you´re planning to stay longer nights here and plan to cook, the flat do have a small kitchen but not that well equipped. other than that we enjoyed our stay in ter heide

The staff were very friendly, and the location was great. There are three restaurants nearby, and we woke up to the sound of birds in a lovely green setting. The staff also kindly offered us coffee in the morning, even though we hadn’t asked for it.
The beds were not comfortable at all, and their shape had changed due to long-term use. We stayed in a room for three people. There was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. Luckily, we were able to keep the window open throughout the night.
