Lovely stay

Really nice and well equiped room. We had a lovely stay. The staff was very kind and helpful, and everything worked perfectly. Very close to the train station (+- 5 min walk).

Close to train station, Friendly staff, CLEAN and modern. Definitely recommend

We didn’t though of “do not disturb” sign to take out and so to our surprise the room was cleaned when we went to town. It was a surprise for just being there for two nights. Bathroom were nice and clean, spacious. Breakfast a bit pricey but pretty much standard for Western Europe. However what we received was worth it so in the end money well spent. Dinner tip - Paul’s Boutique Gent for burgers just around the corner. #TravelwithMaykol

We were a group of 10. Some of the guys were waking up to feeling of falling off the bed when turning around as the mattresses were quite soft.

Great location & cosy rooms

Room is spacious and well equipped. Helpful staff who let us check in a couple of hours early. The location is a few minutes walk from the station and there are a few bars and restaurants in the same street.

The elevator is a bit too old/small but you get used to it.

Visiting Ghent

Near the railway station and has plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Our room was large, with a lovely bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room had enough storage space for a longer stay. The hotel staff were very nice and obliging. There was coffee and tea available in the foyer at all times.

As the hotel is on a main road, the noise from the outside was at times a little loud.

Good hotel to start our holiday

The hotel great, easy checkin, friendly staff, good location for train station and places to eat. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel and found nearby bakeries. The two rooms we booked were modern, clean and spacious. No complaints from the kids about the Wifi. Would stay again if visiting Ghent.

Breakfast was too expensive for the 4 of us over 2 days. Would have been nice to get a deal for breakfast.

Chamade Hotel is the best in Ghent

Room was very cozy and beautiful. Excellent location with a very delicious and healthy breakfast. Easy access to tram and bus. Closer to the city. Workers are very respectful and polite. I recommend Hotel Chamade for couples and families. Rooms are very neat.

Beautiful modern hotel I will be coming back for sure!

Really loved the modern styling of the rooms and the lobby area. Spacious bathrooms and variety of amenities like tea and coffee were good too. Excellent location for bus, train and taking the tram. I bought some clothes from the shop opposite the hotel and the ice cream shop next door was very good too.

A classy and comfy stay.

Excellent breakfast!! Good location in a calm area close to trams and the main rail station. Kind and helpful staff. They will keep your bags before and after check-in which we found very useful. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Make yourself at home

We travelled to Ghent by train from Antwerp. The entry into Ghent St Peter's is quite gruesome until about a minute from the station when industry gives way to pleasant suburb. The hotel is in a nice, safe, and clean area. The hotel has clearly been refurbished and everything is new. The decor is functional but relieved by massive vases of flowers. The public areas and the rooms have the same beige clean design. Our room was large with a decent bathroom with a small shower cubicle. The shower is a force! The bed was soft and the room easily warmed (it was early May and only about 10 in the evening). The staff were all friendly and efficient. The breakfast was superb with loads of choice and a smashing fruit salad. The hotel motto is "Make yourself at home". It is no idle boast! This is a terrific small hotel.

Perfect stay made even better by incredible staff

This location near the train station was what I was looking for, even though it meant a 20 minute walk to the historic center. The walk was pleasant. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. My clean, modern, comfortable room was an upgrade in size. I only wish I’d stayed more than one night. I left my luggage for the afternoon while I toured Ghent on foot.

Shoty stay OK

My room was spatious and clean, very bright. Very comfortable beds. Complementary tea in the room. Nice staff. Perfect location a few steps from the railway statin.

Noisy air-conditioning. A green little light blinking in the night (a smoke detetctor?) did not help to get a decent sleep. Absolutely claustrophobic lift.

Nice small hotel within walking distance of station and city center.

The hotel is not far from the train station and within walking distance of the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was all right, but could have included more hot food, the staff was helpful and friendly.

The main disadvantage was the renovation happening in the hotel. At 9 am loud work started and it was difficult to stay in the hotel. In addition, Some sockets in the room were not working, probably because of the renovation. It would be nice if we were informed about all that in advance.

The staff is very welcoming and informative. Location was good and the newly renovated interior of the lobby was pretty cool.

I guess the sound proofing as there were guests partying at 3 am and then someone started throwing up loudly in the morning and we couldn’t sleep from their extreme noise.

Hotel well managed and very friendly

This is a 3star hotel and exceeded my expectations. Booked standard room which was large and clean. A dated room but in good condition. The breakfast was excellent and had an open kitchen. Staff extremely helpful. Hotel 5 minutes walk from the station. The centre of historic centre was a 15 minute walk or a quick tram journey from the station.

The shower was good but there was no mat to prevent slipping. We were aware but still a risk.

I have asked for a birthday card or something special to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday, and they set a card with a personalized message upon arrival. My boyfriend was very grateful. The receptionists upon arrival and departure, were both super nice. We had a lovely stay.

The room was okay, but a bit noisy during the morning as the hotel is under refurbishment and we could hear the noises from the construction as well as the A/C in the room which was a bit noisy during the night. However, the room itself was nice.

Highly recommend

The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were always helpful and friendly. It was the perfect location for us, right near the train station. Highly recommend.

We would have liked more teabags in our room 😁 TV channels were pretty limited - BBC1 wasn't working. Difficult to find much else wrong - we were very impressed.
