We were welcomed to private rooms in the family home by our cheerful hostess!

The location is perfect, just outside the OldTown.

Perfect location

Fabulous location tucked away next to Pile Gate and Old Town. Public buses and small supermarket very close. Plenty of shops and restaurants closeby. Clean, homely and comfortable. Would recommend. Thankyou Domenica.

Well- located and well-equipped room

It was clean and it had everything we needed to have our breakfast in the room. A good location right outside the Pile Gate and pretty quiet.

Great location and it was quiet in the room. Lovely host.

Location was super convenient. Bed was comfortable. Host was very flexible with our arrival and departure times.

Private bathroom meant we had to go through a hall way and pass other guests to use the bathroom. Felt like we were disturbing other guests. When taking a shower the hot water quickly went cold after 2 minutes which wasn’t enough time to wash my hair. It would have been nice to have cold bottles of water in the fridge when we arrived as we had travelled a long way.

Ace place tucked in to even acer scenery

Superbly located just outside the old city walls and close to some of the most scenic (Game of Thronesy) beaches. A bit chill after hours after the heady tourist-trap of the old town. Owner was super friendly and ready to help at the drop of a hat. We had our mates staying in the room next door so almost felt like being at home. Recommended.

I think we accidentally turned off the hot water, so beware of that or you'll have a cold shower.

The location, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and good wifi.

The host was very nice, untill she had to verify something with my passport and said it would take 1 minute and went into her house (next door). I waited for 4 minutes, she did not come back. I ringed the bell and then she gave it back. It was a little bit weird..

No sea view, beware!

Sea view, really. 5cm to see from so far it’s a lie to call it sea view. Bathroom separate from room… dispappointed really

Do it for the location.

The location could not be better for access to everything! Sound insulated, clean, kind hostess. Beds are fine. Views are spectacular. Nice to have a fridge, some plates and flat wear and a microwave.

The towels are pure sand paper. The body wash/shampoo is not effective. Hand soap has an awful smell. Hot water heater runs out of hot water very quickly. Plan one person showering at night and one in the morning.

Location location location. Bit difficult to find as we arrived late at night and there isn’t much signage out front.

Great location…comfortable room

Location was great, just outside the Pile Gate and the owner is very nice! We were on the first floor so only 18 steps to carry luggage. Room had a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and even a few dishes. Felt very safe in the area and pick up for Uber was very convenient and close. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great!

Room was a little small for 2 people but we were only there 2 nights so it was fine and the price was great! Might be tight quarters if you have a lot of luggage.

Location location location

The best location in all of Dubrovnik, right next to the Pile Gate. The apartment is located in a lovely old house and the owner welcomed us very kindly. The room was quite small, but clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit surprising that the private bathroom was located in the hallway, which had access to the other two rooms. It felt strange at first, but we got used to it quickly. We were very happy with our holiday and I hope we can come again someday.

A wonderful, relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay.

Location is incredible, literally next to the old city walls and Fort Lovrijenac. There’s a small cove next to the fort that is simply gorgeous to relax in. The host is a lovely local lady, she is so welcoming and helpful, and let us leave our luggage there on our last day.

It didn’t have a hob to cook on. We knew this before arriving, so it wasn’t unexpected or a deal breaker, so this is just to help others be aware as food in Dubrovnik is expensive, so self catering can be helpful

Best location in Dubrovnik

Best location in Dubrovnik. Close to the sea. With tiny view to the Lovrenjac castle. Really, really comfy bed. Little things for guests - some sweets, drinks. There is a place for everything. Well organized. Clean, cosy, typical. The owner is obviously very experienced in her work - has adequate answers to every requests. The host was very nice to let my luggage in house after the check out. Very friendly atmosphere. Thank you for having me!

The air-conditioning system in the house next door was very noisy and it wasn't possible to sleep without closing the window. There is one and the same corridor with other guests to the personal bathroom. The connection with the host passes through some booking agency and it is difficult to contact the host directly and to ask the needed information. But finally if you speak with the host it is perfect.

Lovely host, very friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient location for Old Town/Pile gate (and buses). (Down steps next to fountain, door is on right) Comfortable room, and bed, with private bathroom just across the hall. Facilities to make your own (simple) breakfast and lunch. Supermarket and bakery nearby. Little beach alcove with drinks and food just around the corner. Everything we needed for a busy few days in Dubrovnik.

Home away from home

Lovely comfortable feel, host was very accommodating with check in and allowing us to leave our bags for awhile after check out. Felt very content here. Contact with host and booking company excellent.

A bit small, but great location and I’d stay again.

Location was great! Walking distance to most attractions. Steps from the water. The host was very kind. She helped carry one of my luggages up the staircase. The room was a bit tight and I bumped my shin on corner of bed just when we arrived and she was kind to bring me a bag of ice. I also liked that the room was very clean.

The water did not stay hot. It was hot for the first person’s shower but the second person would get about half the time with hot water. Luckily we were there in July when it was very hot and humid so the cool shower was not too horrible. The towels were a bit rough. The room was a tight squeeze for two people, but doable. No room for luggage so we had to step over them as they laid on ground.

The best: the location. It’s lack of better place for the luggages

The location is the best of my accommodation. It’s located next to the Pilar Entrance in the old town, close to the the best restaurant Dubravka and the public transport for going to the port to take the ferry to Hvar or other Islands.

There was not instructions for arriving (the stairs can kill you in the summer). I think there was not a correct distribution of the furnitures and stuff in the room. Things that are not useful for example, the dishwasher. The things for coffee are tea were basic. It’s lack of more explanation of the main places when you arrive. All tourists need to know more about the city in order to take advantage the time more efficiently.

Location is ok. It was possible to leave the luggage in the property to then come back and return the key in the end of the stay.

Exceptional

The location is perfect! Just a few steps from the bus stop and right at the old town's entrance, very practical when carrying luggage. The host was very kind and the amenities of the room (kettle, microwave, mini fridge) very useful. And we had the room with the view to the fortress!
