Short stay

This is the perfect place at a great location for a short stay single traveler on a budget who does not want to stay at a hostel. Bonuses: personal service, cleanliness, home like atmosphere and small details like a fridge, toaster, toiletries, and it all works perfectly in this small place, luggage storage option.

You can hear the other people staying in the house, but hey everybody is here to see the beautiful Dubrovnik. And you have to be aware that you are in old town so don't take that as a minus.

Great spot in the centre of town.

Great location on a quiet street in the corner of the old town. There are tons of shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Brilliant helpful, friendly, welcoming host. Next door to an outside cinema.

The room was a little small but perfect for a solo traveller. I would have liked a chair in the room. Only the bed to sit on.

Absolutely perfect 💛

Gorgeous room in the heart of Old Town. The location is perfect yet at night, the room is quiet and peaceful. The facilities are charming yet new and clean, and there are so many little things to make a visitor feel at home. Slavica, the host, was amazing. She met me at Pile Gate on arrival and showed me to my room and was so helpful throughout my stay, even bringing me a different pillow because my neck was sore.

Amazing location and overall spot in Old Town Dubrovnik

Great location! I loved being able to go out in Old town Dubrovnik for a bit and then come back and relax in the room. It was so easy to walk to anything in the old town. All of the amenities were available and the place was spotless. Their communication with me before arriving and while I was there was exceptional.

Fantastic place to stay for a solo traveller visiting Dubrovnik.

Lovely little room in Old Town - perfect location and added bonus of being able to watch and hear the outdoor movie from the window in my room ! When windows were closed room was soundproofed and air conditioning was perfect. Very clean and very easy check-in and out and ability to leave bag on last day for very small fee.

Old town gem

Great location. Not like most other B&Bs in the old town, there are no steps to climb dragging your luggage. My room overlooks an outdoor movie theater. Just perfect.

Highly recommend

This room was perfect for me, the bed would fit two people sleeping close together. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, recently renovated and with all that you would need. Host Slavica was super helpful, providing all the necessary information and assistance in coordinating transport to and from. She even escorted me to meet my airport shuttle. Location was perfect, within city walls but in a quiet corner. Access was easy from Pile gate. I heard some noise at bedtime but closed the bathroom door and heard nothing else and slept soundly.

Dubrovnik trip

The room was in a perfect location in the city center, everything was pretty close. The beds are nice, the shower is also spacious. The host, Slavica, was really nice and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Beautiful stay in the perfect location

Slavica was a very attentive host, the room was clean and extremely comfortable. I found it very quiet and peaceful to sleep at Angelus. It felt very homely.

I was not aware it would cost 5€ to keep my bag in a locker when I checked out and it would have been better to know this in advance or if it was just included in the price as I often don’t have cash on me.

Absolutely fabulous stay! Wish I was staying longer and would definitely stay again or recommend to others!

This was a fabulous room and fabulous location! The owner was so lovely in communicating with me and ensuring I arrived okay. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous and perfectly laid out. Very accommodating and very clean.

The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was the water tank sometimes made some strange noises and then I wish there was a “do not disturb” sign to put on the door as I did have some disruptions during a lazy morning.

Angelus rooms had everything I required to make my stay comfortable. Excellent location as well as value for money. The house is very well maintained, always smells great & is welcoming at the end of a long day walking around. Slavica is absolutely lovely & very helpful. I will stay here every time I visit Dubrovnik. I highly recommend Angelus rooms.

wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like high volumn loud speaker noise in your bedroom

location was brilliant. friendly greeting when I arrived. room decor fresh and co-ordinated.

I wasn’t told when I booked that my room backed on to an open air movie theatre. I arrived really exhausted after all day travelling and really wanted to just eat and collapse and have early night. At 8.30pm the movie started on loud speakers and was sooooo loud it was intolerable so I had to go out and walk around until movie finished at 11.30pm. two days later was the same.if I had known I wouldn’t have booked this room. I feel they should have been up front when you book.

My stay was great. More than anything, her hospitality made me feel warm and fuzzy.

The host, Slavica was full of hospitality. She was waiting for me in front of the apartment and gave me a warm welcome. My room was cosy and the facilities such as the air conditioning and bath was fine. It's easy to get to the city walls as the apartment is located in the heart of Dubrovnik. I'm satisfied.

Loved this stay in Old Town!

The room is right in the heart of old town - perfect location! Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern. Wifi was great. The host was lovely and offered some great recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

Shower head needs fixing as the water spits everywhere and the room I stayed in was next to a movie theatre. It didn’t bother me too much as it usually finished around 11pm but that may annoy some people.

Absolute gem of a room with a brilliant host.

Excellent communication from Slavica prior to my stay. The apartment itself is inside the Old Town, right near to the main street, yet tucked away enough to be quiet and tranquil. The room was clean, spacious and well presented and immaculately clean. The bathroom facilities were spotless and we'll maintained. Slavica was an amazing host from start to finish. A very warm and kind lady who couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Great option inside the Old Town

Location is definitely a 10. Super comfortable being inside the Old Town. Area with lots of restaurants. Hostess was very nice and accomodating with the keys. Everything as the photos. Really recommend for solo travelers.

A little light came through the blinders in the morning, very minor but I'm a very light sleeper. It's not a hotel so no 24hs reception.

Our host Slavica was very professional and polite. Gave lots of useful info and suggestions. The room was like new or recently renovated - very clean. The location of the room is perfect.It's quite and the same time one minute from Pile gate. Easy access to the old city and to the new since right outside Pile is the bus station. Excellent choice - highly recommended. Thank you.

Perfect location. Perfect Amenities

This room was perfect. Perfect location Perfect amenities Perfect host. The host helped me organise a transfer from the airport and Leo was there waiting and made it all very seamless. Slavica was at the gate to meet me and take me to the rooms. The location was great and so close to the main pile gate. This was a fabulous stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
