"The location was fantastic, within a minutes walk of Pile Gate, couldn't get more central for the activities we wanted to do. The bed was comfortable and easy to sleep in. The bathroom was also lovely..."

Una excelente ubicación para vivir la experiencia de dormir en la ciudad amurallada. Céntrico. Muy cómodo.

Positive: excellent location - 5 mins from Pile gate with no stairs to get to the property (up one flight if room 1 or 2 - additional flights for other rooms). Building door locks with door code. Modern bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. Not too noisy from the street. Shutters to block out the light. Staff were very responsive to messages on whatsapp or through booking.com and they enabled an early check in which was appreciated.
Room 1 was a very small room - too small for 2 people - luckily I was only 1. Very noisy internal wooden stairs - being woken up late at night or early in the morning by other residents banging up and down the wood stairs. Stain on the bed sheet - they said it was dryer burn mark - but just put me off a bit - they changed it the next morning. Extremely slipperly shower floor. Not a huge deal - but do like to watch a movie before sleep - netflix didn't work. No face washers. No coffee maker only kettle and instant coffee.
