Fabulous views

Great sea views from rooms 3 and 4. Eddie is an extremely helpful host. Great location, away from the bustle of the old town, but only 2 mins walk away. Quiet. Comfortable beds, good showers.

The rooms are quite small, with the bed pushed up against the wall. The bed covers are thick blankets rather than a duvet. The entry lobby is rather unusual, with washing machines and other equipment. A bedside light would be useful. But these are tiny niggles, the overall feeling is extremely positive.

Pretty much everything. The little room was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and cozy, the room so quiet, in an old building with the thickest walls ever, with a view up to that beautiful mountain.

Wonderful seaside view apartment

The view to the sea is wonderful. It takes just a few minutes to the Old City. The apartment has everything necessary for a trip. The host gave great tips on where to go and how to spend the limited time the best way.

The refrigerator was a bit loud for falling asleep.

Poor overall except for Eddie

Editor himself was exceptionally helpful, we thank him for his help

1. Room too small - tell people in advance of this. 2.Room was on 3rd floor with only stairs (51 of them) - tell people of this before they book 3. Really only appropriate for one gues 4. His managing agent was not in any way helpful when we sought to just drop off luggage before official check. He/she took NO responsibility for anything 5. It is advertised as being Seaview rooms. Ours was nothing of the sort.

Awesome spot!!

The room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. Definitely cannot beat the location and views!! Eddies’s place was a great find for us at then end of our holiday! He was a great and friendly host with lots of local knowledgea and easy to get a hold of if needed.

Great hospitality by Eddi and great Location

Great property! Eddie was very helpful upon check-in. He provided me with very valuable information on where to go and what to do and that was a lot of value to me as a solo traveller. I did most of the things he recommended and it ended up being the most optimized trip/route I could have taken 👌 Thank you Eddie. The rooms are great, cozy and location is great. I think it is better than getting something in old town because of the stairs you have to take in old town to get to the hotel/airbnb. His place was only 3 minute walk from old town so it is essentially next to you. Everything was provided and my stay was perfect.

This was a perfect place for us. Dubrovnik offers so much to do see and experience.

This property was utterly charming, the room small but very compact, great big shower, lovely stone walls and very comfortable bed. The location could not be better in Old Town, right in the heart of history and a maze of interesting streets to explore. All this while being very quiet at night.

The best host and perfect location

I’ve travelled the world and Eddie is easily the best host I’ve ever had! He’s so kind, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour! The room was perfect, the view is stunning and the location is the best - it’s quiet and so close to Old Town! It’s a gem of a place and I can’t wait to come back.

Couldn’t ask for anything better.

We had a lovely stay at eddies place, location is brilliant , walking distance to beaches and the old town. Eddie himself couldn’t have been a better host, very friendly and made us feel at home, gave us good recommendations for the city and Mostar. Can’t wait to return in the future!

Eddie is extra. Very abrupt, no sugaring the pill there. However he sets his rules and it’s his business and it’s successful so kudos to him. If you’re the sensitive type, it’s not for you.

Location, location, location with the best host!

The location is as good as it gets. It is so central to everywhere you want to be in Dubrovnik, which makes it easy to pop in mid-day without having to take a lot of time away from siteseeing. Edi is a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful. Communication before arrival was great as well. Truly a fantastic choice for such a great value.

Perfect get away for all occasions, the host has thought of everything so you can just relax and enjoy.

The owner and host,Eddie, met us on arrival and gave us valuable local knowledge on what to do and where to dine. The location and the room were fantastic but most of all, it was the beautiful view from our window that was the highlight.

There was a curved staircase which made it difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. The small room is really small. It is good for a single traveller, but too small for a couple with luggage

Charming building, great locale, helpful owner

Eddie the proprietor was fun and extremely helpful, recommending stuff to see and quality places to eat etc. Room was small but sufficient, AC and shower was great. Loved the location, so close to Old Town, harbour and all activities. Laundry facilities and owner on site.

Maybe a bigger sheet on the bed, hubby and I were fighting over it in the night!

One of the best places we have stayed at in terms of location - 100% perfect.

Absolutely loved our stay here - Edi was the perfect host, gave us a full run down on where to eat and things to do in the old town which was just a stroll away and our room was magic - views of the old fort and the harbour, it was unbelievable. As big Game of Thrones fans having that location right outside our window was very special. The room was small but had everything you needed.

Eddie’s is made for Cruisers!

PERFECT location! Just meters away from all you want to really see. Public transportation, tours, beaches, restaurants, etc. so quickly reached. Eddie and brother are great hosts!

A bit cramped in the room we chose but not an issue if you plan to be mostly out. A/C worked fine but outside temps became inside temps while you’re out.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay

Eddy was a very helpful host, who guided us on the walk from the Pile Gate bus stop to the accommodation. Location was great as it was very close to the Pile Gate, yet situated in a side lane with quiet surrounding. Eddy gave good advice on places to visit and recommend F and B outlets to eat. He also helped us to arrange a taxi to send us to the airport on the day we check-out.

As our room was small, we don't have much place to move around or place our luggage.

Fab location super host

Incredible location, beautiful views. Eddie was great and so welcoming - offered so many good recommendations that were great!

We had the smallest room and it was small - not impossible but definitely only suitable for a short stay. There are a fair amount of stairs up to the rooms - if you struggle on stairs I’d possibly choose another place or request a lower room.
