A treasure in Dubrovnik

The view out to the sea and fortress and green park surrounding you was a joy each day . The hostess Mimi made it a wonderful easy stay

Beautiful property with lovely host in ideal setting

This is such a beautiful property situated just outside the Old Town (10 minute walk down, slightly longer up!) surrounded by beautiful parkland. Our bedroom was wonderful, full of charm and immaculately presented. Bathroom was huge and well appointed. There are terraces outside too to relax on. Maria is a lovely host, with prompt communication. We only wish we could have stayed for longer - two nights was not enough.

The owner is super nice and she took care of us she was part of a family. Its location is just perfect. Near all the attractions yet not touristy. I slept like a baby.

Beautiful room, close to Dubrovnik city walls, walkable.

Very well situated, walking distance from the city walls. Note that there are stairs along the way. You need to be able to walk. There is a public parking close by, with few steps to get to the room. It is expensive (and it's more expensive to park 2 nights than 2 times one night...). Street parking in the area is theoretically free, but hard to find, there are few spots. And you cannot park right next to the apartment due to the nature of the "streets", most of which are not drivable. If you come from the airport and stay a couple of days it might be best to just come by taxi from the airport and not bother with a car (which you could rent later in your trip). Breakfast is not included but we highly recommend it: the terrace is wonderful, the owner is very kind and the breakfast is very good. You can get an omelet in addition to the pastries and so forth. This kind of place is rarely available, as people tend to know it and reserve long in advance, so if you can, grab it. There aren't many this nice and this close, which justifies the price (things are expensive here). The room we had was very spacious and comfortable, with a sea view. There are places to relax on the property, and a nice garden. The place is a haven of peace and quiet, and it's relaxing in contrast to the very busy city.

No bad things to say. Just be warned about the car situation, and being mobile enough to walk to and from the old town.

The quiet location, the roomy interior of our bedroom, the beautiful courtyard and wonderful views from the bedroom and garden. The owner was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. She baked delicious pastries for breakfast too, when we stayed for breakfast.

Very peaceful, comfortable, real home from home . Mimi did the most wonderful breakfast , and we felt calm and relaxed from the first minute until we sadly returned home. Everything we would want was in our room, and a couple of extras. Close to the old town via 197 steps !! It was perfect for us. Definitely be back.

Where do I start? Amazing views, beautiful clean room, Mimi the host and Ricco the cat were unbelievably friendly and welcoming, close to everything you need, Dubrovnik and the people just fantastic, we will be back, and certainly will be staying here again. Do yourself a favour and come visit!!

The villa is in a fantastic location and it is incredibly peaceful and charming. The edge of the old town and the Adriatic Sea are both beautiful from the view of the terrace and windows. Mimi is such a lovely and kind host. She was immensely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Mimi!

Villa Anica was perfect. Perfect location for the Old Town, the beach, walking around the new town and also access to the hills. The room was so comfortable with a lot of room. The patio outside is absolutely delightful and the views arw amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean. Mimi could not have been more helpful and friendly and her breakfasts were lovely. We loved the old world charm and convenience of Villa Anica❤️ The room was large with plenty of storage, beautifully decorated. We were met at the door with a smile, coffee and homemade cookies. We would recommend this location to our family and friends!

The beautiful view, flowers, orange and lemon trees, the patio, and the close proximity to the Old Town Dubrovnik! Please bring good walking shoes and understand in advance that you will be walking up thousands of steps and inclines no matter where you stay in Dubrovnik. Get in shape and enjoy!

Wonderfully peaceful and relaxing stay with a gorgeous view and the most incredible host

Villa Anica was a stunningly beautiful place to stay. The location was fantastic, perfectly quiet with a view of the water and fort, just a short walk into the main attractions at the old town. The rooms were lovely with a huge bathroom. Mimi, our host, thought of absolutely everything. She gave us a lovely wine on arrival and some delicious local chocolates on departure. She cooked us breakfast every morning (excellent omelettes and lovely cheeses, meats and veggies as well as pastries, toast, cereals, juice, fruits, yoghurt etc). Mimi helped us organise everything we needed for our trip including a day on a sailing boat, car transfers to the airport, restaurant recommendations and helping us find a laundry service. She was the most wonderful host! The garden is lovely to sit in and relax with a gorgeous view if you want some quiet time after a big day of sightseeing and there was a lovely sitting area indoors (but we spent our whole time outdoors in the garden because it was so lovely). We can't wait to come back and stay again! :)

Very nice stay with lovely host!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Anica. Mimi is a super host! She helped us with finding a free parking spot near the accomodation, which is a real blessing. In this part of town you quickly pay € 60,00 per day for a parking spot. When we arrived after a long drive Mimi welcomed us with a lovely welcome drink. The bed here is really soft and big, we had a great night sleep. The bathroom and shower are also very nice! The accomodation is near the city centre. Mimi also prepared us the greatest breakfast in the morning. We would recommand this accomodation to everyone!

Exceptional

We stayed at Villa Anica only for one night but it has been so perfect and pleasant. The hotel is located in an ancient villa with an amazing view on the old town. A plus of Villa Anica is that it is few minutes far from the walls of Dubrovnik and away from the crowd. Another plus is for sure Mimi: she has been a lovely host, helping us in finding a free parking (not an easy task in Dubrovnik) and she took care of us in any possibile way.
