Excellent Location but Light Sleepers Beware

We liked the close location of the property to the Old Town. It was extremely easy to walk to and from the attractions in the Old Town. We liked the ease of check-in, and the quick responsiveness of the host. Our host was friendly and ran us extra items when we requested them. Keep in mind there is no housekeeping here, so you will need to request extra towels/toilet paper/cups etc.

The walls are paper thin. Our first night, we woke up to what sounded like elephants going up and down the hallway, shouting, and other noises. Honestly, it was absurd. If you are a light sleeper or value good sleep, this isn't the place for you. The bathroom is quite small, with a small shower and no counter space, which made the room feel extra cramped. Our stay was fine for what it was, but I would book elsewhere if I visit Croatia again.

If we go back to Dubrovnik, we will say here again.

The building has very convenient access to a wonderful swimming bay - 5 minute walk. The view from our room was spectacular. It is very close to the bus station for pickups for day trips and local buses. Included breakfast from a local restaurant was excellent. Very convenient location to the walled area of Dubrovnik.

One consideration is that there are a lot of steps for the upper units.

Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful experience for me. First of all, the building was a combination of old and new, just like Dubrovnik ♥️ Despite its old side, it was spotless. 😇 Surprisingly easy access to the hidden little bay (you are walking through history.) Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though the check out time was 10 am, my bus departure was 4 pm, but with their understanding of the situation and probably due to their availability by chance, I checked out late. Moreover, they helped me to keep my belongings at the reception. Long story short, only 1 minute from the old town and 20-25 minutes public buses to the bus terminals. I absolutely loved it.

Perfect location, close to old town!

Perfect location. Just outside the Pile Gate. Nice and quiet. Matej was very responsive and met us to let us in. The free breakfast was great. The room was small, but it was just what we needed as we didn’t spend much time in the room, just to sleep!

Struttura appena rinnovata ma servizi scadenti

La posizione è ottima, vicinissimo alla old town ma piuttosto defilato dal trambusto del traffico. Struttura super ammodernata e camera molto ampia.

Al momento del soggiorno, la struttura si presenta come affitta camere, senza servizio di reception e senza una stanza di ristorazione. Avevamo la colazione inclusa nella prenotazione ma dislocata fuori dalla struttura: prima scelta un ristorante a 5 minuti a piedi dalle h.9 in poi (per noi troppo tardi la prima mattina, essendo lì per lavoro. Mentra la seconda mattina il ristorante non era agibile perchè stavano girando un film nella zona); la seconda scelta un bar nella Old town a 5 minuti a piedi con menu dedicato ma poche opzioni di scelta. Nella camera ho trovato degli asciugamani piegati e altri già appesi, che non si capiva se fossero puliti o no. Il cestino del bagno senza sacchetto e dentro l'armadietto del bagno ho trovato uno scovolino dei denti aperto. La struttura non ha un nome vero e proprio...

Atención del personal/anfitrión, Matej está siempre disponible y es muy muy agradable. Facilidad para check in y check out, con posibilidad de late check out. Desayuno incluido en un restaurante muy cercano, correcto. Posibilidad de acceso a la playa desde el alojamiento. Lugar muy tranquilo y silencioso por la noche pero muy bien ubicado y céntrico. La cama es cómoda, hervidor de agua, cafetera y nevera en la habitación.

Muy correcto, para terminar de hacerlo perfecto por el tamaño de la habitación y el baño le pondría algo más de almacenaje para optimizar el espacio.

Destaco dos aspectos muy positivos del alojamiento: la inmejorable ubicación y la amabilidad de los anfitriones. En cuanto a la ubicación, el alojamiento es muy céntrico, pero al mismo tiempo es tranquilo. Aunque mi habitación estaba en un segundo piso sin ascensor, ¡eso es insignificante en comparación con la cantidad de escaleras que hay que subir en otros alojamientos de Dubrovnik! Con respecto a los anfitriones, desde el primer momento mantuvieron una comunicación constante y muy amable conmigo, e incluso me avisaron que la habitación estaba lista antes de la hora del check-in. Ah, y el desayuno en el restaurante Sesame, incluido en la tarifa de la habitación, es delicioso y ofrece varias opciones. Espero regresar a esta ciudad tan encantadora y alojarme de nuevo en este lugar.

Un séjour agréable et sans faute, je recommande vivement

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, proche de la vieille ville et avec un accès direct à la plage par un petit chemin derrière l’hôtel. La chambre 5 était spacieuse, jolie, climatisée, avec une vue sur la plage, et surtout très très propre. L’accueil était chaleureux, les propriétaires toujours disponibles pour nous aider.

L emplacement parfait,avec la petite plage à 1 min,,!! hors de la foule du centre historique tout en y étant collé,, L accueil,la gentillesse des hôtes qui nous ont aidé à monter nos valises! La propreté,chambre soignée et lits très confortables!

Superfijn verblijf op een top plek!

De kamer was prima: je had alles wat je nodig had en het was schoon, verder niet bijzonder. Echter, de locatie is super! Dichtbij de Oude Stad en het strand. De gastheer is heel erg vriendelijk en hielp waar nodig. Een groot pluspunt is dat het ontbijt (met genoeg keuze) bij het verblijf in zat. Hier hebben wij erg van genoten! Kortom: het was een fijn verblijf.
