A little piece of Bali paradise

My stay here was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a quiet rest at the end of my month long trip to Indonesia and Rasasvada cottages was perfect. It’s peaceful and quiet and has beautiful surroundings, garden and pool. The outdoor bathroom is extra fun ! The staff here work extra hard to make your stay excellent and I really appreciated it. The food was delicious and they provide water and snacks for the room. Several restaurants and shops in the area including a laundry just down the lane way.

This has nothing to do with my stay at Rasasvada but the government tore down all the buildings at Bingin beach and left the rubble. So it’s a real mess. I highly recommend visitors try Nunggalan Beach which is a short car ride away. Steep walk to get down there but it’s huge and beautiful.

Peaceful bungalows in Uluwatu

An amazing and peaceful property tucked away from the busy roads of Uluwatu. Super peaceful feeling as soon as you enter the gates. Breakfast every morning was amazing - fresh fruit, fresh smoothie and dishes to order. We especially liked the banana pancakes. Our daughter loved the pool and exploring the grounds. Would definitely stay again!

Lush private villas, the perfect escape from downtown

We loved this find!! There are only 5 villas on the property (we had the family one and a double for our grandparents) and they’re all privately nestled amongst lush gardens with outdoor bathrooms facing a private jungle. We felt a million miles away from the madness of Uluwatu. The pool is huge and lovely, the included breakfasts were REALLY good (sourdough and fresh fruits + cooked options), the staff were lovely and the villas large and super comfortable. We’d definitely stay again! Also walking distance to grea restaurants - Mensa and Seed were our favourites ;)

Our toilet was leaking from the base, there was evidence they had tried to fix it but it hadn’t worked

A peaceful, authentic, and comfortable stay with great facilities and genuinely kind staff

I stayed in Bali for 3 weeks and had unpleasant experiences almost everywhere; here, however, that was not the case. Everything shown in the photos is 100% real. We booked 2 cottages. One was absolutely wonderful, with a beautiful bathroom, everything clean and comfortable, and we slept extremely well in complete peace and quiet. The other one was less beautiful, but again, that’s exactly how it looked in the photos used to promote the room. So I recommend simply checking the photos carefully so you know what you’re booking. We weren’t very attentive. The pool is very beautiful and large enough for a bigger group of people, both children and adults. It’s well equipped, the water is clean, and it’s a joy to spend time there. There is also a large gazebo/common area where guests can spend time together. Breakfast is served there in the morning, and in the evening you can relax with a beer, juice, or a glass of wine in peace, without disturbing other visitors. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of options, and the same goes for food or drinks during the day if you get hungry or thirsty. The staff is very kind and helpful. Thank you for the way you welcomed us.

It’s not very close to any beach. The closest one, about 5 minutes away, was recently demolished and is not visually pleasant at all. The next one, where you can also see a beautiful sunset, is about 25 minutes away—a distance that’s easy to cover by scooter or Grab.

Lovely quiet place with great breakfasts & lovely accommodating staff.

The breakfast was surprisingly very good. You could choose your option and it came with a fresh fruit platter which was awesome. The 2 bed villa was very spacious and had full screen mosquito nets a kitchenette with fridge freezer and cold water dispenser. The atmosphere was nice and the staff very accommodating - I was unsure if other people were staying at times as it was so quiet (there were!)

For me I found the mattress very hard and uncomfortable but others might find it alright. The villa had outdoor toilet and shower/bath which can take a bit to get used to. The shower was in a large marble bath which I did not like as it was super slippery and you had to be very careful moving in and out.

Romantic little getaway

Beautiful little bungalows with a high level of privacy. Breakfast was very tasty. Outdoor bathrooms were stunning.

Be advised that the nearby beach is not that easily accessible right now and lacks infrastructure due to the demolition of all buildings there. But other beautiful beaches are a short drive away.

This propert and staff are lovely!

This property was quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. The bed was comfortable, we had air conditioning and loved swimming in the pool. WiFi was 8/10 but was sufficient to make future travel arrangements. Breakfasts were incredible. They can arrange for a scooter reservation from the Villa, but we were able to do that through the driver that brought us here.

Beautiful, quite place. We had the two bedroom villa which was huge. Outdoor living room and bathrooms. Lovely breakfast. Great restaurants nearby.

Billie and all the staff were so kind and accommodating! They welcomed us with a drink and were so lovely and got us whatever we needed. Great breakfast too. The pool area was stunning. The room was very spacious for 3 people.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rasasvada Cottages. The atmosphere was wonderfully authentic, and the staff were so sweet and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. It offered incredible value for money, and the breakfasts were next level, fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. A peaceful and memorable escape in Uluwatu.

A wonderful stay in Uluwatu

Very pleasant stay on this beautiful property. The best beds of Bali also according to our teens. Beautiful lay out and very nice pool w. complementary pool towels. Dreamland beach is okay to walk to, beach towels are on request available. The staff were just wonderful.

Rasasvada was amazing! The rooms are beautiful and so relaxing. They’re clean, airy, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The outside bathrooms are so cool and the pool is lovely. Breakfast was also delicious. It’s like a beautiful garden oasis in Uluwatu. Thanks for a great stay on our honeymoon 🥰

Must book for your stay at Bingin

The staff were so accommodating and extremely helpful to organise scooters and activities. Breakfast was fantastic great range of fruit and hot breakfast options! 3 minutes walk to the steps of Bingin Beach and on a quiet street which is easy to navigate.

The steps to the outside bathroom were quiet steep and was a bit challenging at night.

Located in a side street, with a little walk (10min from door to beach) to the Bingin beach (steep stairs). Dreamland beach is 5min by scooter/taxi. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and very good airconditioning. Ideal for a short stayover.

It’s on very good location inside the woods. Clean rooms with all the stuff you need for your stay. Nice and relaxing pool area.

Relax & Escape in Uluwata

Excellent location, only a quick walk to Bingin Beach. Beautiful property, surrounded by nature and well maintained. Good breakfast options and all were delicious. Nice pool area. Peaceful for the most part. Staff were all kind and accommodating.

Was unaware the whole bathroom and toilet was outdoors as Booking.com does not state this, nor shows full photos (only the outdoor bathtub). The rooms are not well sealed so mosquitos are constantly entering the room. The bed net helps but they still get in, repellent was required for the full stay. Excess noise on the weekend due to surrounding parties. No tv for entertainment but not a problem if wanting a relaxing getaway.

The property is a serene and peaceful hideaway with private gardens, a wonderful pool area, excellent staff, wonderful breakfasts and close proximity to everything you need to enjoy your stay. We loved our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa, the beds are extremely comfortable with good pillows.

Peaceful beautiful bungalows in lush gardens ten mins from beach.

We loved our stay here. Lovely dark wood bungalow with white linen and nets around beds, good air con and simple stylish rooms. Felt Balinese and not like a chain hotel which is what we wanted. Comfy sun loungers around pool and shade too.

It’s breakfast only with a limited snack menu beyond breakfast - lots of great places to eat out but worth being aware it’s just pool snacks/toasted sandwiches. It was mostly quiet but one morning there weren’t enough sun loungers for all - perhaps add a couple more?

Wonderful and relaxing

It's just a lovely little oasis bang smack in the middle of Bingin Beach with a short walk down to the beach or to any fabulous little restaurant or cafe nearby. The pool are was so serene, very easy to while away the afternoon. Staff were friendly and spoke great English. Bed was super comfy, as were the pillows!

A highlight of the trip. Fantastic place to stay with great staff. Breakfast was delicious and the cottages are so pretty with a shower and bath outside. For our honeymoon they left a bath of flowers and swans on the bed. Short walk to the beach.

Great place to stay in Uluwatu.

The bathrooms were great and the beach was only a short walk away and a very hard claim back. The breakfast was great and very filling. Also close to many things and attractions.

I liked the individual cottages. Felt like I was in Bali. Staff all very very helpful and lovely. Delish breakfast. I had the banana pancake and thoroughly enjoyed

The room was too dark and small. No space for bags. A lot of bugs and mosquitos due to the nature of the outside bathroom. They also turned the AC off during the day which was far from ideal when I was very unwell one day with a bug. Pool and the pool surroundings were murky and could have been better kept. They should also make the reception more lively as it’s dead and a bit dark. Not Very inviting. I personally think it is farrrrr overpriced .

Beautiful!

We loved it. Beautiful, really well kept, gorgeous garden. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, not too many of them, so it felt very personal and quiet in a good way. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who took the time to share with us his experience of Bali. Loved the place, totally recommend it!
