Staff were great. Rooms were cleaned very well everyday. We loved the pool area.

Our room was quite warm, the air con wasn't the best but that comes with the style of the building.

What a beautiful place to stay, walking distance to local food or fine dining, and also a 20 min walk into town if needed. Our room was beautiful, beds were so dreamy, so is the whole place, amazing for photos. The staff are super cute and friendly. Just what we needed, something tucked away from the hustle, quiet and serene. There are also motorbikes on every corner if you want to get in the mix of things. We loved our stay here.

The boutique home is absolutely beautiful; from the artwork to the furniture and the overall layout of both the property and villa, you can really see the love and care that has gone into every detail. The hosts were incredible. They even carried my suitcase and bags to my room before check-in time, which I was so grateful for, especially, as I had overpacked for my first trip to Bali! I would recommend bringing a medium-sized suitcase if possible, as large ones can be quite heavy to manage. That said, you really don’t need to pack as much as you think, they provide pool towels and other essentials, which is so helpful. The family and staff who run the boutique are so kind and welcoming. They offered me a coffee on arrival (very much needed!) and were always happy to share tips on places to visit. Their warmth and constant smiles made such a difference to my stay. I spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and loved the surrounding wildlife - it adds to the charm of the place. It feels beautifully rural and peaceful, yet it’s still close to local cafés and restaurants in Bingin, which is the perfect balance. I truly felt at home here, which is rare for boutique stays. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here. At night it can get quite dark, so I’d recommend making sure your phone is fully charged or bringing a small torch if you’re walking to nearby restaurants. It’s only a short distance along a small lane, but having a light makes it much easier and more comfortable. The sunset views from the room were incredible. I had an upstairs room with windows all around, which made it feel really special. The staff had thoughtfully closed the curtains before I arrived to keep the room cool. During the day, it can get warm due to all the windows, but simply closing the curtains helps, and, then opening them again at sunset reveals the most amazing sky.I even brought earplugs as you can sometimes hear nature at night (like lizards), but I loved that :)

The villa does have air conditioning, and while it’s not extremely strong, it provides a gentle, cool breeze that keeps the room at a comfortable and pleasant temperature. There are also ceiling fans above the bed, which make a big difference, especially at night. Furthermore, the room is large! I found the temperature perfectly manageable, particularly as I was out most of the day, and the evenings were naturally cooler. The staff also thoughtfully closed the curtains during the day to help keep the room cool, which really helped. For me, having those incredible sunset views from the room was absolutely worth it. It’s a small trade-off for such a beautiful setting, and I still found it more than comfortable enough to sleep actually had one of the best nights sleep. I’ve stayed in places without any air conditioning at all, so having both a fan and air con here was actually a great balance.

The overall vibe of the property is very nice and relaxing, and the pool area was great to use during our stay. The design of the space has a lot of potential and would be very enjoyable if all facilities were fully operational. We would also like to especially mention that the owner was very kind, cooperative and understanding when we discussed the issues we experienced, and he genuinely made an effort to assist us and find a fair resolution for the inconvenience caused once he became aware of the situation.

Unfortunately, during our stay there were ongoing electrical issues and maintenance works which meant that our originally booked room was not available upon arrival. We were moved to alternative rooms, and for parts of our stay we experienced lack of running water, electricity and Wi-Fi, which made it difficult to use basic facilities such as the shower, toilet and internet connection. Additionally, the initial room we were assigned was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with visible hair left in the shower from previous guests. After requesting housekeeping, the room was attended to, however the shower area remained uncleaned. There were also some delays in addressing the issues we reported, until the owner was made aware of them. There were also some areas of the property currently undergoing renovation, and the replacement bungalow we were assigned allowed rainwater to enter during normal rainfall due to openings in the ceiling. While we understand that maintenance can happen, these issues did impact our overall comfort during the stay.
