The common area with the pool is great, breakfast is great, location is the best!
The king room was a bit dark, its not a room that you feel nice to chill in the day. Queen room is better in terms of lighting and natural light.

Mule Mali Tropical Stay in Bingin is a cosy and comfortable place to stay. While the accommodation is a little dated in parts, it is extremely well maintained, which really adds to its charm. We stayed in Bungalow 11 and found it to be very clean and truly felt like a small home away from home.
The bed must have been incredibly comfortable because we had the best sleep of our entire trip while staying here. The location is ideal—close to everything you need, yet just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The property is surrounded by beautifully tended gardens, which makes it even more appealing and relaxing. There is a small fridge in the room and a safe-box as well as kimonos to use and a great full length mirror
The breakfast offerings were incredible—make sure you book a room with breakfast because you definitely don’t want to miss out. The dining area is beautiful, overlooking the gardens and pool, and was the perfect way to start each day.
The staff were so welcoming, incredibly friendly, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. I especially loved coming back after a day out and being greeted at the front desk with “Welcome home, Meghan”—such a thoughtful and personal touch that made our stay even more special.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Mule Mali to anyone visiting Bingin.
There was nothing that we didn't like

Amazing property in the heart of Bingin but tucked away to the side making it perfect oasis. Amazing service, the whole staff was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional with fresh food and great coffee.

An exceptional stay. The staff were super friendly. The food was very good along with a mellow setting. Central to everything as well.

Nothing other than the kindness of the staff.
We were deceived on our arrival with the reception, the infrastructure and the room and its facilities as well as the welcome drink. The photos published on the booking.com site do not reflect the reality. An open-air reception, a small piscine and some rooms around. The hotel is isolated and has no access to the beach except a dangerous narrow stairway covered by a collapsed house on the bottom of a cliff. The facilities (washing room, toilet, shower of the room are outdoors in an open area (like a balcony). This permits to mosquitos to enter the room. the hot water low flow rate takes 15 minutes to arrive. The furniture and bed are poor quality and hard. The curtains are dirty and teared. The washing open space opens on an area without any security. We were so deceived to a point we walked far to eat, and we did not use the swimming pool, and we looked for another hotel. At that period of the year, with the costs of mule malu tropical one can have a comfortable suite with a private swimming pool.

We loved so much about the property and had an amazing stay. The location of the property was superb, situated in a very beautiful tropical oasis, far away enough that it was very quiet, yet close enough to cafes/restaurants etc. Only 10 minutes by scooter to the hustle bustle of Uluwatu. The outdoor shower/bathroom was unique and very lovely, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the food at the property is delicious, especially the breakfast and frozen coconut coffee.
All in all, very impressed and felt very relaxed and rejuvenated after staying here!

The room was a bit noisy. I heard all motorcycle noises during the night.

Beautiful tropical surroundings. Calm and peaceful.
If I’m being picky it felt a bit damp and clammy in the room

Perfect spot as a solo traveller. It is well located in easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, spas and yoga studios. The breakfast options are so fresh and there is a small mini mart a few doors down too. The facilities are beautiful and all the staff are so friendly. I really felt at home here for a few days, and highly recommend!
There were a few noisy neighbours, but not the fault of the hotel.

Very cute property - loved the room. It was quiet and the outdoor bathroom was great in a very Balinese style. Lovely little pool area too and having a cafe on site was a great bonus to enjoy an afternoon drink or breakfast in the morning.
The bed was a little small but that's only because my partner is over 6 ft tall and his legs hung over the end. Other than that it was all fabulous!

Super friendly staff, very relaxing and peaceful accommodation with a lovely pool.
They brought me a nice surprise when they found out it was my birthday at the check in which was very lovely!
The room, bathroom and surrounding were clean and beautiful. It’s close to many shops and restaurants and 2 main beaches.
The breakfast and food were very delicious, the juices were excellent and the coffee was the best coffee we had in Bali.
We loved our Uluwatu stay here.

Beautiful garden, lovely pool, very comfortable deck chairs. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food served was delish!
They don’t do laundry on site but were happy to arrange this for us.
Just a note, no vaping/smoking on premises and if you want to stay out past 11pm you need to make arrangements as the gate gets locked.
Also worth asking for something more than just a sheet to sleep under; even though turned the aircon to higher heat it was still a bit chilly.

The staff was excellent. I was down with food poisoning and the staff have offered to contact a doctor which came to the rescue within an hour after contact. The doctor came straight to the room to check and immediately do treatment. The staff was concern and constantly checking in to ensure I was ok. Making food that could be consume during recovery. the treatment by the staff was just simply excellent. The view of the pool from the room was simply great too. Just too bad I was too sick to enjoy the surrounding of Mule Malu. There's load of cafe surrounding.. just need to walk
The street is too narrow to walk and have to be careful as the road can be busy road. Convenient store is a bit of a distant to walk to but can order Grab for delivery.

Lovely place. Uluwatu has become pretty touristy and this was like a little haven of calm we could enjoy. Staff so friendly, nice food and drink options, pool literally outside the room. Loved it.
We also met the owner on our last night and had a chat, lovely guy. Can't recommend this place enough.
Nothing I can think of!

Loved the room, staff were exceptional and property really well maintained. Walking distance to busy food/bar area and Bingin beach. Lovely massage on site ($19 aus for 60 mins). Breakfast was good but limited options with package (still worth it, food/coffee amazing) and free waterfall station at bar near pool area. About 15 mins on scooter to Ulluwatu and lots of walking opportunities once you’re closer to coastline through local streets between beaches.
Too noisy and busy through the day into evening. More western tourists than locals, less friendly atmosphere than other parts of Bali and surrounding islands (pretentious crowd) and lots of traffic. Bungalows attached rather than individual. I wasn’t confident to ride scooter but easy to organise a Gojek or taxi

This villa is like a secluded tropical paradise right in the heart of Uluwatu but nestled aside from the streets. The staff are so incredible kind and thoughtful and the rooms, pool, eating area are all clean, comfortable and exactly as listed.

The staff were all gorgeous, good security, great cafe, food & drinks, comfortable, clean & well equipped rooms with outdoor Balinese bathroom, good aircon, beautiful pool and grounds, very quiet and peaceful. I hated here worst location I've ever stayed in bali .
The room was full of mosquitos
No precautions in place like mosquito repellents
Babies in the pool with no swimming underwear it was disgusting. Looks lovely if none of this bothers you. Also the noise of the scooter's all night /day long .
Never again .

We loved our stay at Mule Malu! It is well located and still quiet and serene. The pool and cafe areas are great for chilling. Definitely recommend staying here when in Uluwatu! The room was perfect, loved the outdoor shower and the flowers! It was easy to find a scooter rental at the nearby Harmonious bikes. We also tried breakfast at the neighbouring Bambu Fitness cafe and it was amazing! The staff are lovely and really sweet!
We would have liked to have some Indonesia coffee in the room. A simple kettle with some Java coffee would be great for those who can't find the way to the cafe unless they had a coffee in bed :) that is more of a suggestion, not a negative point! We would gladly return to this place! We really enjoyed it!
