Would definitely stay again!

The Villa itself had a few minor upgrades needed but was definitely the only negative, the villa was beautiful and the team was absolutely amazing and I can not speak highly enough about how welcoming and accommodating they all were, nothing was to much trouble. Big shout out to Kris one of the butlers who made our stay most enjoyable and was only to happy to help with anything.

Besides the fact my partner and I did get a little sick on our stay all the team showed care and concern even then so I dont think I really have anything negative to say about our stay.

Wonderful!!!.....

The staff at the Samaya were exceptionally friendly and efficient from the moment we arrived. They had arranged a shuttle collection from the airport, and we were given an early check-in on arrival. The grounds and layout of the Samaya are just wonderful. Designed to make you feel instantly relaxed and at ease. The onsite Spa treatments are certainly a little more expensive than on the high street, but the girls are trained, and the treatments are excellent. The restaurant serves tasty options and has a perfect view of the spectacular daily sunset and the royal villa we stayed in was equally wonderful. Yes, it was looking a little frayed around the edges (buildings do not stay shiny for long in the Balanese tropics) but it was incredibly well laid out which made everything easy and relaxing and it still felt luxurious in spite of its age. The Samaya is also superbly located close to the main shopping streets as well as many other restaurant options. Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive and helpful particularly Karmaya who made event reservations at our request, organised transits etc...even organised a vegetarian menu for Christmas dinner for my wife!!...We loved our stay at the Samaya, and we hope to return very soon.

Came for Bali, stayed for the Samaya.

It is a dream come true staying at the Samaya, pure bliss. The resort, stunning villas, wonderful restaurant, the beautiful and friendly staff, the relaxing haven which is the spa and all of the little touches are all unbelievable. 10/10 recommend you stay here and experience pure luxury. We loved the pools, outdoor shower, attention to detail and overall experience.

Our stay was super indulgent and absolutely fabulous.,

The grounds were immaculate and the staff were always friendly. The villa was very well stocked with everything we needed and the pool was clean and sparkling.

The only thing I would have appreciated was an outdoor shower near the pool, as walking through to the bathroom across the very shiny indoor tiles was a little precarious.

Very nice experience

The room (villa) was very spacious. The private pool was nice but the water a little to warm for a real refreshment. The hotel is situated on the beach - nice for walks along the ocean. The room was very quiet after 10pm and in the morning. The food in the restaurant was very good, service at times a bit slow (see below). The service (room, laundry etc) was very prompt and friendly. All in all, a wonderful stay before the long trip home.

The service in the restaurant was at times a bit slow. Although, in fairness, there were a lot of guests sometimes, I think that by assigning a waiter/waitress to a particular number of tables instead of everyone running around to all the tables, the service could be easily improved. As an example, on a given evening, we had upto 5 or 6 different waiters/waitresses at our table... On two of three days, there was loud music in the garden - once it was a company event and once it was an anniversary event of the local staff. Not really bothering too much, but still no quiet afternoons...

Very spacious hotel, service level is a bit disappointing for the price we paid

We had a villa with private pool. The rooms are very spacious and you have direct access to the resort facilities when booking in the main area. Staff is very friendly and helpful and you get immediate support if you need anything. Also the breakfast and food was great and delicious.

The service in the restaurant is generally slow even though there is plenty of staff deployed. Usually it takes a while to get served in the evening but also in the morning. We had been there 4 nights and 2 out of 4 nights they had "events" which were not specifically meant for the hotel guests (e.g. internal team event which was quite loud). We had been traveling in Bali a number of weeks, staying in luxury hotels but this one has been the most expensive. We would have expected a much higher and faster service level for this price but it was the slowest and paired with the external events in the hotel facilities we have been actually a bit disappointed from a price/value perspective. Also facilities are a bit outdated compared to the pictures. There have been newer and better maintained hotels in our journey.

Second time here for me. The service was always exceptional. The butler service was quick and cheerful. The al la carte breakfast was amazing as was the afternoon tea. The spacious villa was a big plus for us with all of the bathroom necessities provided.

Wonderful staff, excellent service. The à la carte breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the rooms have every luxury you could wish for. Instead of trying different hotels during our vacation, we ended our trip wishing we had stayed at Samaya the whole time.

The villa was so big and really impressive. We stayed at the courtyard bit that is a 3 min walk or 1 min buggy from the main hotel. We loved this as it was a little bit more secluded but still so easy to get to the hotel. The villa pool was huge. The bed massive and very comfortable. Everything in the room / villa was perfect, well maybe except the a/c that was very loud but they all are aren’t they! Hotel grounds were immaculate and the restaurant food was really nice could not fault it. The beach infront of the hotel was very clean also. And the spa was really nice. We each had 2 treatments and would have loved to have more.

Incredible stay for a honeymoon

Amazing hotel. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are in paradise. The staff go above and beyond to serve you in every way. The breakfast was incredible. The shuttle bus is a bonus. The afternoon tea too was amazing. You are right by the sea and the beach, the pool area is immaculate. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the final days of our honeymoon.

Overall, a magnificent experience and thankful to God for it all

The samaya resort and private villas was a magnificent place. The people were so friendly and gave us a butler each and everyday. The individuals cleaned our room everyday and stocked on new products and towels and wash clothes everyday. I loved Bali and the samaya and will be returning and recommending.

An amazing Villa with everything first class

Everything about this resort was 1st class . All the staff were attentive and very helpful . Everyone made our stay a happy and memorable one . The best breakfast selection I’ve ever had . The villa we stayed in was exceptional along with the dual showers , spa bath and private pool .. Having 4 pieces of laundry free per day was a wonderful extra.

The villa was huge, providing ample space for relaxation. The service from the restaurant, front desk and butlers was outstanding. The staff were attentive and polite. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, catering to different tastes and preferences. I particularly enjoyed my coffee & light snacks during tea time from 2 PM to 5 PM, which was a lovely touch. The hotel’s location is another highlight. Watching the sunset was a breathtaking experience, and it’s conveniently close to Seminyak Square, making it easily walkable. There are plenty of dining options nearby, all within a short walking distance, which adds great convenience for food lovers.

Fabulous resort, wonderful villa, we will stay again.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly, resort was small but well laid out without guests being on top of each other. Individual villa was fantastically roomy with it being cleaned / maintained twice a day. There were 4 items of dry cleaning included which was great and the breakfast / lunch / dinner choices were good as well as the quality of the dishes.

Bed was a bit too firm for me.
