Fabulous break in great surroundings

The One bedroom villa we stayed in was fantastic and great value. The space and the pool was awesome. ALL the staff were absolutely brilliant, they could not do enough for us. It will be fantastic when they get back to complete running and the hotel side has its repairs finished.

Unfortunately the dining options onsite were not great, as stated they are not completely open. BUT what they have is adequate and good quality.

I stayed in a villa at The Royal Beach Seminyak Bali, and everything was excellent. The hotel is located right on the beachfront, with direct access to the ocean — which is a big advantage in Bali. The location is truly perfect: Seminyak offers everything within walking distance — great restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and beach walks at sunset. At the same time, the hotel itself feels calm and private, away from the crowds. The territory is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is professional and attentive without being intrusive. A great place for a high-quality stay. I would definitely come back again.

Disappointing

Good Size Villa. Good Main Pool

The hotel was under renovation, and the general upkeep around the property was poor with no atmosphere. The photos on Booking.com did not reflect what it actually looks like, and there is no mention of it being under construction. The fish pond in our villa was extremely dirty. The pool in our Villa was very small, and because of this was too hot to swim in. Luckily the main pool near the beach club was quite nice. Our Villa was close to the Beach Club, and was quite noisy, even from inside our room. The mini bar fridge was not topped for our entire stay (8 nights). Breakfast was included in our stay, but it was very ordinary. The restaurant was very basic with no atmosphere, and they did not have espresso coffee available. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere every day.

It’s only 3 star. Which is unfortunate. We have stayed at this property pre-covid when it was 5 star. The villas have had a face lift but still dated. The villa gardens hadn’t been tended to like they used to be. The breakfast that was included was terrible, we went elsewhere.

Below average stay, the only good thing being the location of the hotel.

The only advantage is the location of the hotel, which is convenient for anyone to go out to other places to eat or chill. The staff, although, is very polite and cooperative.

The property is under maintenance, however this is not informed to the guests at the time of booking.Breakfast has very limited options, it's not a buffet (even at this price, you need to choose between Indonesian, American or Continental!) and the quality of the available food and coffee is abysmal. There are no proper lights or lamps on the pathways and no security checks at the entrance.

Felt like dignitaries- what a fantastic stay!

Loved the traditional style tucked into the more modern surroundings- felt like it was built for staying dignitaries - LOVED the private pool! It was spacious and well maintained, and felt private. Breakfast served daily at dining area was great, and walking distance to the beach and a wealth of restaurants options catering to every whim. Definitely recommend

The only thing was the 2 TVs didn’t work- but that was a good thing lol. Wi-fi worked great

breakfast was basic as the hotel in currently under renovation and only the villas are operating so the hrs for meals are limited to 3pm last call..The is currently no restaurant in the hotel The breakfast was resonable. Coffee was good. The room villa by the beach is nice and bright and clean the facilities are more modern. I was checked into the garden view villa originally but had to change. The staff were very heplful when i requested a change of rooms as i felt the garden villa was too quiet for me. The villas in the garden are abit old and the furniture is abit out dated and the villa in abit away and quiet. Also i found the garden villa a bit dark. I would choose to come back to this hotel once the hotel side if open as it is the closes to the beach and the location is great. It is walking distance to all the shops at the same time you are full access to the beach. I am sure once the hotel is running there will be better dining facilities.

I think the villas are generally nice but abit lonely for 1 person. Also i think that the villas need abit of updating. The beach side villas are definately much better then the garden villas in terms of facilities and location. As the hotel in undergoing refurbishment the overall place is extremely quiet and there are no food/room service or places to eat in the hotel at night.

Really disappointed with Booking.com

Fabulous location with friendly and obliging staff who did their best. Our villa was 104 and the room was lovely and spacious.

BREAKFAST: Very ordinary. Unchanging and poor selection with just three small categories to pick from. POOL: Unable to swim in the pool due to green mold most of the time. Staff tried cleaning it but the next morning it was worse than ever. Outside paving and walls had large areas covered with black mold which is a dangerous health risk, In Australia, a villa is this condition would be instantly closed down by the health department till the mold was eradicated. Electricity to the whole villa went off a couple of times. Booking. com did not clearly state that their were no facilities as renovations were underway and expected to be completed until mid 2026. I think Booking.com should remove it from its site until renovations are complete. GROSSLY overpriced for what we got and we will be telling family and friends to check facilities carefully before booking with Booking.com Normally we would recommend where we would stay but not in this case.

Will never stay again

The pool & garden has been outsourced to a beach club & bar the noise from the music which was constant (no breaks) from 10am -10pm Our villas were directly along this pool & garden & because the villas have thatched roofs it penetrated directly to the inside. We love our music but this was unrelenting, annoying & totally ruined our stay.

Myself and my 16 year old daughter stayed here and I honestly couldn’t fault it.

As the hotel is being renovated, only the villas were open which meant it was peaceful as less people. Beautiful green surrounds and exceptionally clean. It’s older than some but this added to the charm. Just a thirty second walk to the beach but far enough away to not be disturbed by the chaos.

Stunning property with exceptional space placed at our (family of four) disposal, from a villa with separate wings, private pool, room with pool table, brilliant location next to the beach, etc, etc. For the scale of it, wonderful VFM. And although the property as a whole is undergoing significant rennovations, we were harly aware of them, and certainly not disturbed. And really, really helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay excellent, from all-hours support to sourcing a game-changing guide/driver.

Teeny tiny details, like ensuring soap dispensers are filled, that windows are closed to keep bugs out. But really, not much at all!

Lovely stay in a gracefully aged property, fabulous location with easy access to other popular spots

Location is FANTASTIC, beachfront with a short beachside walk to Legian or Petitenget. Our villa was very spacious and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable with good quality linen, our pool and the guest pools were very clean and well maintained. Like us, the room was showing it's age with some chips, dents and scratches but still very serviceable. With low guest numbers during current renovations the staff were more than keen to provide great service.

Loved the fact that you could just walk out to the beach straight into the sea. The breakfast was delicious although it was a choice of three set meals. I loved the Indonesia choice which I had every day.

The hotel is like it’s been abandoned as driving up seemed strange as no one around. Music from beach club starts at 10am and finishes at 10pm on the dot,a little loud but you get used to it.
