Great stay at blu-zea

Blu-zea was a beautiful and enjoyable stay ❤️we loved the location, close to the beach bar restaurant etc, staff were so attentive and alway friendly 😊it was very clean & the grounds were well maintained and clean also, food and drink was delicious also great buffet breakfast and great swim up bar too thank you blu-zea we will definitely be back again

Lovely big pools, with swim up bar and plenty of space and loungers. Great staff. Big comfortable air con rooms. Comfy bed. Clean drinking water available free of charge. Good breakfast options. My third stay here. The ground floor rooms have their own sun loungers which is ideal. Close to beach, shops and restaurants.

Loved the pools and facilities and management.

The staff and facilities were fantastic. The location was awesome and so was the room. They even had a waiting room once you’d checked out that u could use for shower/toilet and also tv and couch which was great while waiting for my late flight departure.

I loved the balcony but couldn’t enjoy it due to neighbours. The balconies need to be completely closed off from the neighbours balcony so there would b a bit more privacy and if they smoke or talk loudly in their phone or whatever it won’t have to filter over to your balcony. As the property had two pools, It would have been great to have an adult only pool and one for the children/families. -just for those guests who go on holiday to get away from the kids :)

Fantastic time. Plan to bring out party of 10 back in December 26.

Very clean with daily housekeeping. Comfortable bed with great linen and big thick towels. Beautiful pools with swim up bar. Good buffet breakfast selection with custom egg bar. Plenty of complimentary bottled water in our room. Being on the ground floor, we particularly enjoyed the use of our very own outdoor chairs and sun-beds, close to the pool. My husband took advantage of the small shuttle (like a large golf cart) the hotel has for a lift to nearby “Yoga 108” studio to meet me at the end of a class. Then we walked back together. Short walk to Double Six beach for sunset. Lots of places to eat nearby and reasonably spas.

Shower pressure a little weak (I have very thick, long hair). A good excuse to go to a local spa for a thorough hair wash and treatment before heading home. Delightful!

WONDERFUL STAY - WILL RTN SOON (AMAZING VALUE) FEEL ENGERGISED & HAPPY - 1 wk not long enough

LOVED Everything, from the moment we arrived we were genuinely welcomed and wanted to make our stay special. This resort hotel is in the best location, walking distance to beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel size is just perfect, the vibe makes you feel relaxed and very happy. The rooms perfect size due to not being a new establishment (where all are really small and basic) , well maintained and super clean with all you need, incl kettle, daily water, safe, mini fridge,, robes. Excellent lighting too. Walk-in shower. The beds & bedding so comfy - clean white crisp linen. Even the balconies have super comfy seats over looking the pool. Loved the various pool areas and swim up bar with many happy staff ready to serve you. They played music for all ages which made you also feel happy. The beach theme pool with real white sand was unique, never short of a padded bed to lie on. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice for all nationalities. Best poached eggs, just how you like it made fresh to order at the egg station. Personal fav was the omelette. The whole resort was very well kept, they were always cleaning, and the gardens were best kept I have experienced in Asia. They even had a fab SPA & Greek restaurant - very reasonable pricing. What made this a MUST RETURN to resort was well trained attentive genuinely happy STAFF and attention to detail. The security staff at the entrance were so nice and helpful too, this is a very safe resort /Area. Pricing - Accommodation / Food /drink all good value in and out of the resort. Taxis so cheap just use the Grab app. TIPS - General shop outside hotel RHS for milk and snacks etc unless you bring your own tea bags if an avid room tea drinker & for relaxing if not out on the town bring your amazon fire Stick with your incl VPN and you will have all your fav films/series/news etc in your own country language.

NOTHING about the hotel, Personally - Six days not long enough. 10 +would have been better. All main cultural trips meant at least an hour or more away and the traffic is very heavy on Bali. So we did not see as much as we wanted. Also the most stressful was the entry system into Bali (took over an hour) as we we had to complete entry forms on line and wifi kept dropping (So complete before you arrive use official site only ) then que up to pay visa tax, circa 500K IDR pp The form we were advised & did complete prior to arrival apparently was not a visa/entry form, it was tourist tax only. This is not mandatory and was never asked for.

Great resort, would go back again

Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Loved the pool and the bufget breakfast was great. Rooms cleaned daily and were very clean. We were close to everything we wanted, and the buggy ride down to the beach was great on the hot days.

Great self contained resort to catch the sun and relax and enjoy the artificial beach

The pool is the main highlight with artificial sand to simulate a beach, even with a pool area that has sand. The sun beds are designed perfectly and clearly there was some attention to detail. Staff were very proactive and friendly. The gym had excellent equipment with weights rack (but only to 20kg), nice modern multi purpose cable system and a Smith machine, plus the standard treadmill, cycling and elliptical. The hotel was sited close to the nice beach and shops. A few mini marts just immediately outside the entrance within 2 minutes in case you want to buy any snacks or forget to bring something. Breakfast options seemed to be rotated on a two day schedule. Their activity area had a cool cinema room that you can watch Netflix on, but I wonder if anybody uses it with the pool and beach nearby. They have a pool table and tennis courts for other forms of entertainment with friends. This was the first hotel I ever went to that the TV had all the channels they indicated and matched in the tv guide.

The road immediately outside the hotel is very busy and narrow with not much pavement, so even if you just want to get somewhere fifteen minutes away on map by walking, it is pretty intimidating and you may just call a gojek instead. The hotel toilet wasn't in the best shape with slightly rusty or dirty corners, and the top of the rain shower head wasn't cleaned for a long time cause it is generally out of reach of the daily cleaning, so when I accidentally moved it, the dust just came down on me. On my first day, the shower area drain was clogged, but they promptly fixed it when I called the reception. My hotel bed had some kind of insect (??) feeding on the wooden frame at the corner because it was generating sawdust on the floor constantly and was annoying for me to accidentally walk on it. Even after the cleaners clean the floor, within an hour I would see the sawdust being generated again and I would have to remember to avoid stepping on that part of the floor. Breakfast although overall decent did not provide lactose free options for the milk and cereal section. Gym closes a bit too early at 7 pm.

Blue Zea

We have stayed at Blue Zea three times now & can't fault it. The staff would have to be the nicest staff we've come across in Bali. And not just the reception staff but ALL of the staff in the different sections of the resort. The boys behind the bar are amazing!Even the boys who hand out the pool towels are super friendly. We've stayed in more expensive places and Blue Zea hands down has the best staff. The resort, gardens, pool area is very clean & well kept. The house keeping staff do an amazing job with the rooms always being very clean with nice little touches to make you feel welcome.
