The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but in reality it would be closer to a 3-star by European standards. The building is very old and in clear need of renovation and proper maintenance. Nothing about the common areas feels like a true 5-star experience. There are also several basic amenities missing. In the room, there isn’t even an iron, and in the bathroom there is no conditioner provided. On top of that, there is no air-conditioning in any of the main areas of the hotel — not in the lobby, not in the restaurant, not in the common spaces — which makes the experience uncomfortable, especially in Bali’s heat. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. It was honestly the worst breakfast we’ve had in all the hotels we visited in Bali: very limited variety, poor quality, and far below what a supposedly 5-star hotel should offer. The staff are polite, but the hotel needs a full renovation and major improvements in its services and amenities to truly justify a 5-star rating.

Great property overall with amazing people Breakfast was epic every day with so many choices. Only down side to this hotel is the gym which has one treadmill, bike, cross trainer and one set of dumbbells with a flat bench. Nothing available to do a good gym session daily

Food was excellent; as were the staff. Our only issue was with the bed being extremely uncomfortable and the room AC was not very efficient. Otherwise our experience was very good. Nasi Goreng Oxtail (Oxtail Fried Rice) is worth a go if you hungry.

We went for my 40th birthday with the whole family. The staff were so kind and was a fabulous time. My mum ended up falling over, breaking her leg and requiring surgery. The hotel staff went above and beyond in helping us get her to the hospital and upon our return getting us back home. So incredibly grateful for our time there. We will definitely be back.

The property is well appointed and has a great restaurant and pool area. The rooms are large and spacious with nice bathrooms but that’s where it ends for me. There was a persistent foul smelling sewerage odour which emanated from the bathroom. The maintenance staff tried to remedy the issue on multiple occasions but the odour returned. The manager tried to soften the blow by first offering me a couple of juices at the bar but as the problem worsened turned to a couple of alcoholic drinks. Which I found patronising. I was offended. I must point out that I paid for a deluxe poolside room. I was offered another room but in an inferior location which I refused. There was no follow up to check how the issue was except a cake left in the room. Anyway we stayed in the room and put up with the smell as the hotel location was good for my surfing. The location is good with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were good but house keepers ordinary. Overall average.

Very friendly and helpful staff right from the checkin in to checking out. Staff were always very attentive and offering to help when required. Grounds and pool area very clean, staff continually checking for cleanliness. Hotel very quiet and safe. Pool access rooms excellent, only criticism was that there are no ladder/steps from room directly into the pool, only steps at end of pool and the lounges on the verandah were more like chairs and not very comfortable for lounging.

Very central and easy to walk to all necessities. Great value Beauty Spa for massage and beauty treatments ask for Sari or Ita . Staff were all so helpful from the front desk to the room attendants. Definitely would stay again
