Very comfortable and Christine was most welcoming!

The Maison is indeed charming and Christine is a marvellous host. It is ideally located across the river from the centre and a great stopping place when driving down to Spain or Portugal.

A lovely stay after a day of driving, nice and cozy and homely with a lovely host.

Such a beautiful property and easy to get to. Location was perfect. Walking in makes you feel happy and Christine was more than helpful with everything. Fabulous room and very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was more than enough to start us in another day of traveling.

A delightful stop off when driving from uk to south of France

Christine the host was delightful. We had an amazing breakfast on the terrace. Our 2 spaniels were welcomed.

Lovely welcome and fabulous host.

Christine is the most lovely host and was very welcoming, the breakfast was presented on beautiful china quite a memorable meal. The choice of food was impressive as was the quality.

Most of the restaurants were shut on Sunday and Monday evening but we managed to get a take away pizza from just down the road which was super, this was not Christine’s fault but apart from that we enjoyed the stay.

Charming, delightful, comfortable & welcoming.

Beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious and well furnished room (essentially a suite!) The attention to detail of the owner and hostess Christine is superb. Little decorative touches that make it true to its name “charming”. Very comfortable and warm bed. Dog friendly (but there are two cats - but they avoid the dogs so that’s not a problem). The garden is beautiful. The location is quiet and yet walking distance of the river and town. The conversations with Christine over breakfast were delightful. This personal level of service and impeccable taste is why it is a pleasure to stay at an owned and operated B&B

Big spacious room, quiet location, free parking a few metres away and best of all a wonderful hostess who made the who experience feel personalised. Highlight in that regards was a fantastic breakfast where she joined us and we have a lovely conversation.

FANTASTIC experience! This place is decorated just by Love! I absolutely enjoyed my stay there! Christine is an incredibly nice & friendly host! I am also Host, therefore I can judge how flexible and lovely, generous a host could be. Apart from the breakfast, she even shared her personal handmade food with me! And it was super delicious! The room is very spacious (it is actually a living room with coach, chairs tables etc!), so you have everything you need. You also have private bathroom and shower. The TV has endless channel accessibilities (Netflix etc). You have refrigerator, boiler and microwave etc. You can also park for free just in front of the house. The house is decorated like a palace! There is also pretty garden where you can chill out. Many cute details all over the place, forced me to take some video shots. I will definitely will stay there again. Highly recommended.

Truly Charming house with an amazing and creative atmosphere. Hospitable Christina welcomes you as her family guest. And you find yourself in a historical museum with works of art, paintings, antique pieces of furniture and accessories, combined with coziness and comfort. And this delicious orange cake for breakfast from an old family recipe!… mmm…

Highly recommended, friendly and beautifully decorated.

The host was most welcoming and she was able to speak English which was helpful. The whole place was full of character and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious with a choice of fruit, cake, pancakes and baguette, served on gorgeous Pip Studio plates and bowls. We were offered tea, coffee and juice and also cake to take with us on our journey. Our dog was welcomed despite 2 cats living in the property. The walk into town takes about 5 minutes, across the River Viene. I would definitely book to stay here next time we are travelling. 11 out of 10!

Beautiful character property near to town centre.

Quirky, boutique accommodation with some lovely touches. Quiet and comfortable and owners are wonderful. Very helpful and welcoming ! Please note, the bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom and owner lives in but is super discreet. Delicious breakfast with home made cakes and jams, pretty crockery and cutlery. Just super !

Superb

Perfect location for travelling to or from the Eurotunnel with UK. The town is close to the motorway north/south and the hotel/house is easy to reach making it ideal for travelling through France. Christine, the hostess, is marvellous, charming and prepared a superb breakfast in the morning. The house is comfortable, stylish and provides a very personal stay with easy access to the town centre for drinks and dinner. We will definitely be back on our next journey through France,

Excellent very friendly hosts & an amazing property

Amazing property very quirky if you want a bland room don't stay here if you want a home from home this is for you. We had forgotten it was New Years Eve but shortly after arrival Christine & her son Ben invited us to share their bubbly with them we were really made to feel welcome. The room was very spacious, a mixture of antique & modern furniture with seating areas & a handy desk at one end . There was also some unusual lighting the majority controlled with just one control unit. Breakfast was fantastic with Christine's home made preserves fresh fruit salad & home made orange cake. The property is in a quiet street with access through a door which leads into a very pretty the garden it was too cold to sit in the garden on this visit but it would be fabulous in the summer. We had our dog Maddie with us & were able to take her for a walk along side the river which is just a short stroll from the property , we would have liked to have stayed longer & seen more of the area but travelling home to Spain we had a schedule to keep.
