a cage for one night with nice view

The view and the big window were great

The bathroom was so tiny that it even did not have a door. The toilet was in a separate place then the shower. The room conditions were extremely narrow. One could literally not move.

Hotel was fine but not one I will be visiting again.

Location on main square is good. There is a secure multi storey car park (Parking Hotel de Ville) only a short walk away. Decent cafes and restaurants nearby. We visited a Vietnamese one (Viet-cafe) opposite the parking and food was very good quality & value. Hotel room surprisingly quiet given that we looked out over the main square.

The hotel was pretty much what I expected for the money but nothing exceptional. Poitiers had more beggars on the streets than I expected (not something the hotel could do anything about).

It is nicer and more charming than expected

The location is just perfect. The Interieur is decently renovated and has still a flair of a French hotel of the old days. The communication with staff and their kindness were a great asset. A public parking with good prices is nearby.

Location is excellent. Refurbished room was nice. Beds comfortable.

Water pressure in shower was quite low. Staff person at entry was not very knowledgeable about restaurants or museums. She forgot to give us the code to get into the building and should have offered two room cards. She failed to point out that there was an elevator but was okay watching us shlep our bags up the stairs. On the other hand, she was polite.

The property is clean and comfortable and ideally situated on Poitier’s main square. Melanie on Reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the other young man who manned the front desk in the morning was very courteous
