A great base to explore the Loire Valley.

The location was great, 10 minute walk to the train station or 10 minute walk to the historical downtown... The room was very spacious, with a kitchenette, an indoor pool, also the property has a washer and dryer at a fair price.

Some of the staff were friendly, but our one bedroom apartment was in need of a refurb. The toilet seat had come off and whoever cleaned the room would have known this. I did report it on our first day and was told it would get fixed the following day but it never did. Our bedroom had a funny smell to it and the kitchenette was tiny. I wasn’t expecting something spacious but you couldn’t even get the kettle under the tap to fill it. There were chunks of wood missing from the bathroom mirror surround and the tap leaked. I put up with it as we were only staying for 3 nights. To be honest I probably wouldn’t stay there again. Also if you do stay there ask for a room they doesn’t face onto the street as it can be noisy at night.

When we called to tell them that we would be arriving after hours, we were immediately given the codes for the front door and the lock box with the keys. Then, they sent all the same info in an email within the hour. By a mistake that I made we actually had two booking (one for two nights and a second booking for the third). We were about to ask if we could keep the same room for the third night when we were told it had already been arranged. The room and premises were in fine condition, though we never tried the swimming pool so we have no comment on that. If we return to Poitiers, this is where we will stay.

The actual hotel room did look quite different from the online photos. Overall the room was clean, the carpet had a few dirty marks on it. The bedding was very comfortable. Lovely soft cotton bedding, comfortable pillows. The very small kitchen area was fine for heating pre-prepared food but probably quite challenging to cook food. The bathroom was good. The room was quiet, the instructions for late arrival were easy and parking was good.

Nice location. The Thing I really appreciate is the friendly staff at the reception and at the breakfast. I love that they have a Parking lot you Can park your car. But it's to small for Big cars. The apartements need more Cleaning service and bigger television. A place I would love to come back to again <3

Large comfortable room with kitchennette within easy walking distance from the train station and the city center. That being said to get to city center you have to climb a few stairs or hill depending on the path you choose, but you get to come down on your way back.

Hotel is in a great location with a secret garden to to centre of town and it's great bars and restaurants. Really close to motorway and easily accessible. The receptionist was really good with lots of local knowledga and spoke very good English
