Excellent hotel. Spotlessly clean, lovely helpful staff

Cleanliness, and it had been re-furnished or was fairly new

Horrid mattress cover that kept coming off the mattress when you moved and was plastic on one side so it made you sweat

Generally good value if you've booked in advance. Next door to rail/bus stations

To open the front door you have to press a bell and wait for the staff to open it. I had to wait a couple of minutes because the staff were busy elsewhere. Not sure why this was necessary given that at other IBIS Budget hotels you can just walk in.

I had a happy stay for one night

I always like the ibis budget because you get a lot for a cheap price. The staff was very friendly and spoke english and they were helpful in storing my bike as well.

Location

We had to move to a different hotel. The room we booked was completely inadequate and our 15 year old son couldn’t fit in his bed. Awful experience

The check-in was great. We were met by a very friendly young man Javier who spoke english , spanish, and of course french.He gave us the room earlier than expected and gave advise on our visit to Poitiers. The room was small but clean. The bed was confortable. The location was very convenient close to the train station.

Lovely clean room with a great breakfast offering in the morning. The staff were lovely, and the location was great for arriving by coach and wandering. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for 2 adults and a giant 14 yr old, but we made it work for two nights.

Great value for money and a known and trusted formula. For an overnight transit stay more than adequate and clean and comfortable. Easy access and discounted parking in the adjacent multi-story car-park. Within easy walking distance to the cenre of town & its vibrant night-life.

Ibis budget does what it says on the Tin. Great value for money and a known and trusted if basic) standard. Within easy walking distance of the heart of the city but beware of the climb from the station to achieve this; not for the unfit!

Not the prettiest part of town next to the main railway station but this is reflected in the price.
