We were on a long drive and needed somewhere to bed down for the night - Hotel served its purpose.

Alexandra was brilliant in reception both in accommodating our check in and our check out. She was also very helpful at breakfast time. She was running the reception and the breakfast lounge on her own.

Breakfast options could have been better. Some hand towels could have been provided in the room.

No milk for the tea very little toilet paper could not lock the door as lock was broken no smoke alarm only the wiring could not find anyone to help also not very clean

Horrible - very disappointing.

All reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Room very small, dark and dingy. Ensuite was tiny, with a bad smell coming from drains. No hand towel. General musty smell in the building. No way a three star hotel.

Nothing. We left and went to another hotel.

Decor still in the 1970s. No lift. We’re pensioners and were put on the 3rd floor. Struggled up to the room and were immediately hit by the strong smell of cigarette smoke. Toilet didn’t flush. I know it is a budget hotel but this was more like a doss house.

Good journey break on the drive through France

The front desk staff at both check on and check we're extremely friendly and helpful. Car parking was available right in front of the hotel. My room was clean but maybe a little refresh is needed.

There was no food available at the hotel and I was advised to go to an Italian restaurant just over the road. I did so only to be told that the kitchen was closed.It was nine thirty.

convenient one night say close to main roads with friendly staff

it's our third time staying at this hotel on our drive from the UK with our dog. It's convenient location for a one-night stay is a plus but what makes us come back is the way we are received by the staff at reception. Always with a smile on their face and keen to help, makes us feel relaxed after a long day driving. I would definitely recommend.

functional stay in a travelers motel

dog friendly , staff excellent , it’s a basic travellers motel but you get exactly what you pay for . there’s a restaurant onsite , food wasn’t great but it was ok

nowhere to walk the dog really, and town was a bit too far to walk to , so unless you want to drive out you are stuck in the middle of an industrial estate

Excellent reception, warm welcome and quick and easy check-in. Helpful with baggage too. Room was well equipped, perfectly clean. Enormous double bed, very comfortable. Great for a one-night stop on long journey.

The location is on the edge of an industrial estate, not pleasant. But once inside the warm and efficient welcome more than made up for this.
