A hidden gem! Delightful setting, lovely breakfast and extra amenities and charming host! Easy walking distance into the centre of Poitier. Look forward to returning.

It was our first experience of staying in a B&B and it was excellent. The breakfast was like a cordon bleu restaurant and fit for kings. The room was lovely. Large and very comfortable. The decor of the building was beautifully done. It is a 15 min walk to the centre across the river. Philippe was extremely generous with his time and the efforts he puts into providing an excellent service. His English is also extremely good.

Philippe is an exceptional host who truly pours his heart and soul into this beautiful home, conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the charming old town center. His recommendations for dining were spot on; don’t miss “Le Comptoir du Marché” for a fantastic meal featuring fresh market ingredients and attentive service. Breakfast at Philippe's is a highlight—an outstanding spread that reflects his creativity and dedication. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Philippe was a welcoming and wonderful host. Even though we arrived a little later than planned, Philippe took the time to show us on the map where to go for dinner, showed us our room and the facilities and didn’t rush us in anyway. The room was lovely and very well appointed. The garden was magnificent full of plants and old fashion roses that smelled of proper roses. The breakfast was a work of art, delicious and plentiful. The town centre is about 10/15 minutes walk from the house, via the foot bridge over the river. We only stayed one night but we would not hesitate staying at Clos du Moulin again and would certainly recommend staying there.

Excellent job restoring the property but still keeping its personality. The room was a very clean, comfortable bed and all the amenities needed for a memorable stay. The breakfast was outstanding! All homemade, and whatever was not homemade was first quality. Definitly a 10,will be back when visiting Pointiers.

We also enjoyed Poitiers and being able to park the car securely and walk into the centre was a great plus. I cannot believe anyone would not enjoy a stay with Philippe. Thank-you.
