Good hotel close to the centre of town.

The hotel is located close to the centre of the town; it is very easy to find. It is located near to restaurants, shops and other facilities. The hotel has no car park on site but there is free parking nearby. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with good facilities. The hotel is lovely and a good place to relax. The breakfast had a good choice of food and beverages.

apart from the problem on arrival the hotel is well situated

unable to park near the hotel on arrival due to a motoring event taking part outside the hotel, we were not advised of this in advance which would have been helpful , our attempt to approach the hotel from another direction via very narrow roads couldn,t get us near the hotel. Why didn,t the hotel advise us of this event prior to our arrival

Excellent apart from their dinner offerings for a sick man.

When I arrived I was unwell - sickness, possibly norovirus. I wanted something very, very small and simple for dinner and requested, after much thought, some apple puree. No, they couldn't provide this. Next morning at breakfast there was a whole dish of the stuff. In the end I opted for a small omlette but would have preferred the apple puree.

We were told by the initial hotel clerk/office manager at check in that there was complimentary breakfast every morning but found out later we were being charged an extra 22 euros per day for the breakfast.. One office manager was not helpful with trying to get on the wi fi connection. No one told us about the code to get back inside after 10 pm.
