A very well located restaurant in the centre of town. We were passing through the town and this was somewhere to rest. The rooms are small but very clean and the bed was comfy. The shower was also fine. We couldn't get a family room so had two separates which was still reasonable.
Parking was in a large square over the road. Free but not secure but we didn't have any issues. There is a fabulous statue of Joan of Arc which was enough for the trip! Local restaurants very close by.
Just some smokers in the courtyard really and the communal ares are a little basic but it's a very inexpensive hotel.

The location is ideal for visiting Chinon.
We stayed at this Hotel 4 years ago and it was owned and run by a family. The hotel has now been sold to a corporate company and unfortunately, you are now a number rather than a guest. Work was being carried out in the stairwells, very noisy contractors, early in the morning. Work was being carried out in the middle of the restaurant during the day. Very disappointed on this visit
