Perfect position for the town and Chateau . Restos in town a little too similar but Poule d`O and resto in grounds of chateau extremely good and different . Hotel room good and a little noisy from road but not a problem . Owner very helpful .

A good overnight stop hotel.

We were allowed to leave our car in the car park before we booked in. The owner was very friendly and said we could check in early as well. Breakfast was good. The location of the hotel for enjoying Azay is perfect.

We had a heavy case and there wasn’t a lift. However the owner helped us with our luggage up to our first floor room.

Great stopping off point if you’re travelling south from the ferry and want to be fairly near m/way

The manager was welcoming and informative. The room was very clean and quiet. We chse to pay for breakfast (continental) and there was a lovely variety of food. Parking off road in front of hotel. It’s easy to walk round Azay-le-Rideau from this hotel; Azay is a beautifully preserved medieval village/small town with a chateau, some shops, bars & restaurants.

It was a bit tired but had everything there that we needed. Very good value for money.. It was more like a bed and breakfast. The receptionist speaks perfect English and was helpful. It has managed to come through COVID where others failed. The rooms were a bit deceptive from the photos but lovely clean sheets and towels. Very.
