Sadly in need of renovations. The rooms are basic with No air conditioning or even a fan. Everything is rather tired and worn out which is a shame given its prime location.

Brilliant location for Villandry

It’s a brilliant location just next to Chateau Villandry. It’s great value for money and includes free car parking in a large car park opposite. Nice breakfast and dinner, with an especially good cheese selection. Very helpful friendly staff.

It’s a basic functional hotel that could do with some refurbishment. The rooms feel bland but the bed was very comfortable.

Fabulous location and excellent food.

The location is in a really beautiful area and the hotel is right next to a wonderful chateau. The lady who checked me in, also cleaned the stair carpet, came to the room with a pair of pliers to fix the central heating radiator, changed her uniform and served everyone evening dinner. In the morning the same lady oversaw the breakfast service and then checked out guests! She did all these tasks with a smile and she's absolutely professional in every role. Top marks to that lady! The evening dinner was delicious and good value, nicely presented. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice, self service. Plenty of hot water and the bathroom was useable. Free secure parking just opposite was much appreciated too.

Sadly, our room was dilapidated and in need of a full refurbishment. I could tell that the hotel is updating some bedrooms and bathrooms, the workmen were in.

Excellent dinner and great location next to the Villandry Château. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly.

Nice location, nice price !

The hotel is really close to Villandry castle. Nice staff and the price was really nice. Quiet at night - at least for the night I spent there. Really good breakfast in the morning. Nice bed. Free parking lot dedicated to the hotel just in front of it -even though you also have a free one nearby. A few shops nearby to have a snack or a little meal.

My room window was overlooked on the restaurant terrace (fortunately the night I spent there was a bad night for the restaurant - nobody went for dinner there). The room may be upgraded with up-to-date furniture and decoration.

The Staff and the area was very nice

We never liked any thing about the room I found it in dis-repair and felt it had not had any maintenance on it for a long time the sink surround was cracked the tap was slightly seazed and when turned on after a little force went all over your self the shower head was so loose it would not say up so you have to hold it for a shower the room was not clean and also very dated

Location was perfect for the Euro Velo route and near the Chateau. Bed was comfortable and receptionists attentive. They allow you to leave the bike in a storage room.

Wonderful night in an incredible setting

The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful. Room was great for the night. We went to have dinner at L'Etape Gourmande and it was delicious. The location of the hotel is amazing. Only great things to say!!!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Villandry and the surrounds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a locked carpark.

The hotel decor doesn't seem to have been updated in about 30 years. However, that is kind of charming in its own way. The wifi signal in the bedroom wasn't great.
