A good place to stay while visiting Villandry

The location was excellent as was the cleanliness.

There was a shelf in front of the toilet. Both me and my wife hit their head on it.

Perfect little hotel for a stop off in Villandry

Perfect location a stone’s throw from the chateau and gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was just perfect for us with our little dog

Fantastic location for visiting the Chateau

Excellent location just 2 minute walk from Villandry Chateau and Gardens. Good bar brasserie with excellent food. Free parking just opposite the hotel. Great little bakery nearby for breakfast coffee and croissants.

Attic room up two spiral staircases that was a challenge with a suitcase.

Superb

Front staff very friendly, polite, kind and helpful. We were upgraded to the Lovers Room which had a bath and ceiling fan. So grateful of, on a very hot French night. We had breakfast and it was plentiful and enjoyable. Our accommodation was lovely and the area it was in was lovely too. Front reception recommended a lovely restaurant nearby for dinner and we enjoyed their recommendation.

A fan in the room! Bed and Breakfast is good value.

The restaurant setting was in a small rather claustrophobic courtyard. When we arrived it was full so we were shown to the large formal indoor dining room with only one other couple. No atmosphere. Next time I would book in the bar brasserie for simpler food in a nice setting with lots of fun and noise.

Lack of breakfast included in the price was a little disappointing. No dedicated parking for guests. Have to park in road or quite a distance away.

Cozy and full of character. Great for cycling

We booked a quadruple room which was actually two connected rooms with two bathrooms and suited our family perfectly. This made the price we paid good value. The room had lots of character as well as basic tea and coffee making facilities. It was hot because it was under the roof. Two staff tried hard to open the skylight for us but couldn’t and they quickly provided us with a fan which worked well. The location was very central. A five minute walk to the castle and right by the Loire bike paths

Unfortunate disagreement over whether we had paid or not - we had. I feel this could have been handled better but perhaps the staff were still getting used to the booking system.

Heerlijk bed en uitstekend restaurant

Het bed sliep heerlijk! Het restaurant was erg goed, beter dan je zou verwachten bij een drie sterren hotel. Authentieke kamer inrichting, helemaal in de stijl van het Chateau van Villandry. Heel goede wifi!

We zijn om 4:30 wakker geworden door een erg lawaaiige vuilniswagen voor het raam.

Мы заказали номер на 4 человек, и из фото не следовало, что вторая комната и кровати находятся на чердаке, не изолированном от главной родительской спальни. На фото было изображено иначе. Нам было очень неудобно. Но спали мы хорошо. Ванная ужасно маленькая и вода проливалась сквозь дверцы душа.
