Relax and enjoy the good food

The location is great for a walk in the morning to get some fresh air. The bedroom vibe and decoration is so cosy and cute, they even thought about the song that was playing in a old style radio, was nice and relaxing. And the restaurante is fabulous. I am doing a master in Sligo and I will be back next year for my final exams and I am absolutely going back to The driftwood

Everything! Location, lovely sea view room, breakfast, lunch and dinner available downstairs. Rooms were quiet, clean and decorated with character to a gorgeous standard. Have already booked to return before the end of the year!

The breakfast was only average. I have had better eggs Benedict. I wish it had a shower rather than a bath. Minor stuff.

Loved everything about this stay - the size of the room and the beautiful little touches everywhere! A great shower too! It's in a quiet location with a lovely walk nearby and not far from the town.

Beautiful boutique rooms, good amenities. Just upstairs from an excellent restaurant. Friendly staff.

The room got quite warm during the night ( it was an unseasonably warm day) We opened the skylight in the bathroom and it cooled the room. The bed was very firm. The lovely Voya products in the shower were difficult to use as they didn't fit the holders properly

Expensive for what we got.

The location was ideal and the restaurant was very good.

The cost for the room did not reflect the facilities. There was virtually no clothes storage space and only four coat hangers for two people for two nights. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the facilities they did not match the facilities we had got at two other, less expensive B&B’s. Also paying separately for breakfast seemed unnecessarily complex.

An enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Ireland. Dinner & breakfast (restaurant) were delicious.

The Driftwood is situated in a beautiful area just opposite the water (coast). The hotel is tastefully decorated and the room large and comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were very tasty and good value for money.

Parking area was full when we arrived. Had to wait until some dinner guests left to get a carpark outside for the night. It wasn’t a real problem as we just had a small overnight case.

Lovely room. Nice decor and great area to explore the surrounding areas.

Shower blocked. There was a kitchen unit but no crockery or cutlery? Just note, there's no lift so we had to lug our cases up 2 flights of stairs.

Comfortable Quiet Beach Option near Sligo. Easy Public Transport Options on the Water.

The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but the restaurant opens somewhat early. There are not a lot of options for meals in Rosses Point, and The Driftwood's restaurant and bar really provide a nice service in this family beach area.

It seems to me that on a busy bank holiday weekend, The Driftwood should have extra staff on board. Servers in the restaurant were also doing check in and check out for the hotel guests. There were times with only one server and no one working the front desk. Given the relatively high prices for the Sligo area, the hotel and restaurant need additional staff on board.

Glorious break in a beautiful location

We loved the food,the view from our bedroom was beautiful.The hotel and restaurant were very busy as the sea shanty festival was on but nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Exactly what we were looking for

A very friendly and relaxing venue. Everything nicely decorated, rooms very comfortable. The food was extremely good, we ate both dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptional. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

No complaints. Parking is limited, but lots of options on the seafront within a hundred metres or so.

Beautiful location, superb room, great food and friendly staff.

The deluxe sea room was beautifully furnished. High quality bathroom fittings and toiletries. As you walk in the retro radio is playing soft jazz and the ambient lighting is a welcomed touch. The staff were very relaxed mannerism and welcoming. The restaurant served a great breakfast and we stayed and booked a table for our evening meal which also did not disappoint.

The outside appearance - it doesn’t do it justice.
