Perfect overnight stay- excellent value, good meals and super friendly staff.

Very very friendly and helpful staff. From the welcome on reception ( lovely man who gave us advice re parking, etc) to staff in the restaurant for dinner and at breakfast. The twin rooms we had overlooking the river were perfect. Spotlessly clean. There was a wedding reception, but we didn’t hear any noise where our rooms were, a good night’s sleep- comfy beds etc. Breakfast was great!

Location was good. The staff at breakfast were so helpful and breakfast itself was lovely.

Lack of parking. Only 8 or so spaces and as I was travelling with a baby, it was a mission trying to find parking and then getting suitcase/ buggy and baby to hotel...in the pouring rain. Chewing gum under bedside lockers and just a general lacklustre bedroom. Nothing remarkable about the room at all . It was very disappointing, considering the price.

Big, comfortable rooms and nice bar 🍻

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bar/restaurant area was really nice (felt like a cosy pub!). Was impressed by the vegan menu! Our room was comfortable and a decent size (the bed was massive!). We had a nice view of the river. Everything seemed really clean.

It was ideal for one night stay in Sligo for work.

Staff were lovely. Location is ideal for our needs. Breakfast was lovely. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and suitable for our needs. Good facilities.

No parking facilities. When it is wet, parking is more difficult to find in the locality nearby. We were on the first floor over the bar and exit door. It was noisy and was disturbing with furniture being moved around and customers leaving late at night.

Comfortable Stay

Staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful. Great atmosphere in the Bar and the room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The only thing I can fault about our stay was the lack of parking. They have only 8 car spaces and they work on a first come, first served basis. We arrived on Sunday so parked a little down the road but had to get up at 8am to move the car as they start clamping in the area from 8:30am. Not ideal!

Overall, I would definitely stay there again, it was a very pleasant experience.

The room was really nice and comfortable, and I was lucky to have an amazing view of the river. The breakfast was good, even though the coffee wasn’t quite up to my usual standards. The location right by the riverside was excellent and made my stay even more enjoyable.

I honestly can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. Everything met my expectations and I had a pleasant stay.

Decent hotel, lovely staff, good location

My room was spacious. There were two wardrobes for hanging clothes and plenty of room to open a suitcase on the floor. Tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. My room 210 had a lovely view of the river and footbridge. I was able to open the window and hear the water (and cool down the room). The location was handy and I was lucky to get the last available space in the small carpark which was great. The staff were very helpful. WIFI was good.

I wish hotels would include a light blanket in the room as the provided duvets are always too hot. By the time you are hot lying in bed, it's too late to call the desk. The hotel decor is a little dated. Adding hooks in the bathroom for towels, toiletry bags, and robes would be nice. The mattress was ok, not great. The TV didn't work right - would turn back to hotel channel and reception was poor.

We stayed for a few nights to enjoy the town of Sligo and see the west coast of Ireland.

Free parking is very limited. Pay parking (€2 per day) is available close by 150 metres. Hotel is located right beside Garavogue river and just a short stroll fron town centre and is an ideal base for touring the northwest.
