Perfect place with great common kitchen and lounge areas, easy parking, and well-equipped rooms. A small improvement would be adding a sliding door or sound barrier, as noise from the lounge—especially after a certain hour at night—can reach the rooms.

Modern bed room and ensuite.
I was met with a young woman with strange eye makeup who insisted that I give her my credit card details and said it was in the terms and conditions, see below. She kept saying I just want as through she was oblivious to the danger, I am a sole traveller and the bank could issue a security lock and I would have no way to pay for anything including transport, buses want you to tap. I needed my mobile phone to get the security txt what if it was down at the time? I wouldn't have a place to stay that night. She still kept saying I just want. There was no warning that I would be asked for this. She said it is asked for everywhere. I have stayed three places in Sligo now and wasn't asked anywhere else. She kept my credit card details on a laptop and so a company employee or a hacker could steal from me.
This is what is in the terms and conditions.
Payment Methods
Cash is not accepted at Reception. A debit/credit card is required for all stays, although cash may be used for equipment and activity payments.

The owner was super friendly and welcoming, giving us a map of the town and marking recommendations on it. The place was spotlessly clean, walking distance to town centre, and very good value. The facilities are on the basic side, and the room was small, but that's what we were expecting from the price so can't really complain (it was just a place to crash for us during a wedding, so we didnt spend much time there). Would definitely recommend it as a budget option.

We're very pleased for the hosting arrangement, they were really interested in staying persons. It was very clean and smells so good. Thank you for everything.
We were staying in the three person room and it was very small for luggage items but clean. and also the beds were so noisy for turning in the bed...

I had a great stay at Éalú Lodge. Everything was very clean, the location was perfectly central yet quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nicely decorated and new, modern design. The staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations. Shower was good. Easy walking distance to the centre and easy parking.
The bed frame was held off the wall by a small (usefully placed for charging phones) shelf, that made it awkward to lean pillows up to read in bed.

The Lodge was exactly as described, clean, nicely decorated, and every facility necessary. Each bunk had its own light, shelf, and sockets, perfectly thought out. I particularly liked the environmentally friendly shampoo/body wash😊 Aoife was so welcoming and friendly. We had a great chat 'as gaeilge' which is always a lovely treat

Bunk beds noisy.

The property was clean and affordable. It also had a parking spot. I had a kitchen, so if you wanted to cook while you were traveling, and that was very handy.
The beds were incredibly noisy and uncomfortable. All three of us thought So. The bathroom was super tiny. Also, in the advertisement, they should pictures of three separate beds, and then when we got there, they were two beds, a larger, one on the bottom, and a smaller one on top. Fortunately, they were able to move us to another room.

The location was terrific and there was parking! The host was very kind and helpful in helping us find interesting pubs and restaurants as well as local hikes!! The common areas were very cosy, comfortable and clean. Loved it!
The only thing was the beds that squeaked when you moved. Also, the height between the bottom and the top bunk could be adjusted for more space- I kept hitting my head. That said, I loved our stay and had a great nights sleep.

Bed was not that comfortable and room could have been cleaner

It was for a one night stay with 2 adult and 1 teen. The room was surprisingly very small (8 sqm) with a double bed with 1 bunk bed. No much room left to open up the luggages.

It was very modern and clean. It was a great advantage to be able to use the kitchen facilities for breakfast and tea & coffee.
The staff were great very informative about where to go and what to see in the area.
The only thing that I’m not 100% about was the bunk beds. Every time my friend or I moved during the night we disturbed each other.

Plenty of parking at the rear of the property.
Location of the property is excellent.
Just a very short walk to the many restaurants and pubs in Sligo town. I was on a motorbike tour and found the location excellent.
The pressure of the shower was excellent.
William, who is the property owner was excellent from the outset. Very informative of the areas when organising trips along the coast with some very good local knowledge that made our trip even better.
Don’t forget to ask for a pin to place a pin of the world map in hallway before you leave!
Couldn’t fault the property or facilities.

We went to a wedding in Sligo Hotel. The Loge was about a 8 minute drive. It was perfect.
Nothing. But I'm sorry I didn't get the owners name. He was very pleasant to talk to and he made me a cup of coffee.

Brand new facility; excellent price and great location within walking distance to river, town, sites; clean; pleasant; everything we needed. William is a fabulous host. He responded immediately to all correspondence, met us in the morning, told us about the Lodge and his other adventure tour activities, made us coffee, and gave great recommendations for live music, food shopping, and good hikes. A former school teacher of his happened to drop by while we were in the shared kitchen, and he praised William’s good qualities. It was a sure testament to the genuineness of the hospitality William had shown us. Great craic.

Great location, super nice staff, let us leave baggage for a bit. Very clean.
The beds were too uncomfortable- could feel the springs- rough!
8.0 / 10.0
Location, cleanliness (it's very new), shared kitchen well equipped
Very small, tiny room. Double bunk with single on top. Mattresses poor quality, uncomfortable and could feel springs in mattress. Bed cover too hot it's a good idea to have a lightweight option as we've found this everywhere. Pillows fall off back of bed as due to design bed does not rest on wall. Cannot sit up in bed with bunk overhead.
