The emergency light in the bedroom was on during the night and it was too bright to sleep.

Modern facilities with eco-friendly focus. Comfy beds and own ensuite. Very quiet. Laura was great to deal with and gave us good information about local places to get food etc. Plenty of options and also our own box in the fridge for storage etc.

It was a great location, secure and very clean. The beds were so comfortable (2 Twin room w/private bath). The kitchen facilities were incredibly well laid out for sharing! Around the building the gardens were lovely and peaceful. We especially loved the donkeys braying and owls hooting!
The green nightlight over the beds was convenient, but bright. Bring a sleep mask! The room doors close hard and the group staying at the same time just let them slam - all night each night.

Its location is beautiful and its facilities if you’re traveling in a big group will cater for you.
This is a self catering activity centre so be aware you need to bring own food.

Beautifully maintained building and gardens, very friendly helpful welcome. Well set out kitchen, cupboards and cooking. Bedroom clean, spacious and comfortable.
The heavy fire doors that are hard to open and close quietly.

This is my 4th time here. Loved the location and Sligo is so underrated as well, so love the nature the centre is surrounded with. Everything was spotless.
Just our room’s TV wasnt switched on, the host offered us another room so everything was ok at the end. We didn’t take the other room as it was only for a night.
The only other thing would give a feedback about it the heating on at night and the kitchen area. I dont think its necessary for the summer ! 😊

The location was perfect for accessing local hiking trails. Our room was comfortable and clean. We liked the centre’s environmentally friendly and community-oriented values. Great choice of books in the communal lounge!
Sometimes the doors slammed shut and the noise echoed down the corridors at night. Maybe put a sign on the doors to remind people to close them considerately

We had our own breakfast, the location is stunning, close to the Gleniff Horseshoe Valley
The staff gave us the wrong key pass for the door! We only got in thanks to another guest...Also, the house was overheated, even though it was practically empty. The air was so hot and dry in the lounge that we had to turn the heaters down and keep the doors open. Definitely not environmentally friendly... It was so very clean, the kitchen felt sterile, not cosy at all. Unfortunately, they got rid of the old-fashioned fireplace in the lounge, which we experienced there years before...

Nice setting. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice room. Excellent kitchen facilities. Lots of parking spaces. Great location for hiking and visiting north Sligo/Leitrim area.
No breakfast (but we knew that)
Incredibly annoying 'emergency light' in room and bathroom [= 2 x lights] at night that gets brighter as the day gets darker. Please do something to fix this terrible situation!
I would go back again if they fixed this problem!

The host was very friendly. The kitchen is well equiped and labeled for your room. The room was very clean. Location is really nice if you want to go around Benbulbin.
The top bunk bed had a very hard mattress and the bottom one was very high, so it was a bit hard to move around on the bed and not bump your head.

The location was outstanding. A tranquil, beautiful spot in sight of some stunning mountains. We like the strong environmental focus in the way the hostel was run.
My only suggestions would be to provide glasses in the rooms and to provide a more detailed ons type map of the area for those seriously interested in walking
