Great communication and value, spot on location for my trip. And I got to say hi to the bunny 😀
It's an older house so sound will naturally carry more. Other guests were really considerate on this end.

Thank you so much! It was incredibly wonderful at Easkey Hostel. A stay there is more like being guest in a lovely home than in a hostel. I loved the livingroom, with the guitar, the drums and the cozy couch. The kitchen ist cute and there are always some pasta, cornflakes and tea free to use. I asked for a hair dryer and got one immediately. It was also so much fun with the other guests. One day we heated up the hot tub and enjoyed it at night under shining stars.
The shop next door has everything you need, also h hot water bottle for an ice cold surfing day in October.
I loved the surrounding and the whole village. But if you try to escape from Irelands Halloween - Crazyness, you ´re in the wrong village. I ´m so afraid of Halloween and was so happy to find this cute hostel in the middle of nowhere…but then I arrived and I was surprised to see the creative Halloween decoration. It was crazy cool (also a little bit scary), everywhere on the only street in the village were dolls as big as humans. It was great fun and everyone in this village was very friendly. Thank you so much. I´ll never forget this time and have still some friends I met there.
Nothing. Even the postman at the small post office is a friendly sunshine and I even miss to send my postcards there.

Lovely homely place. Helpful friendly welcoming owners. Location was superb for my visit to local landmarks I wanted to visit.
Perhaps a little lamp/bedlight if wanted to read.

It was a really short stay but the ambience in the hostel was really friendly and simple.

I'm referring exclusively to the room for two people. Although the place was nice, I cannot recommend it at all. The room is adjacent to the house next door (I believe the owners’), and there was constant noise — talking, running up and down the stairs, even jumping — well past 1 a.m. I understand it's their home, and I also have children, but when you're traveling, it's impossible to sleep in such conditions. It was the worst stay we had in Ireland over fifteen days. I was surprised that they seemed completely unconcerned... I feel bad saying it, but it was a terrible night and we really needed to rest.

I got the private room, which was small, but comfortable and clean. It faces onto the little interior courtyard, where Jumper the bunny lives. The room has a shared bathroom right across from it, and it is right beside the kitchen.
You can hear everything in the building, people coming in at night, noise from upstairs. Everyone I met there was lovely, I'm just a light sleeper.

Our room inside had a lowered ceiling (due to staircase to upstairs) which made movement difficult when the room was dark.

It’s very charming and everything is very well laid out. Thought has clearly been put into everything and it has a bit of a soul… which wouldn’t be the same for a lot of hostels.

All that is great about hostels. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Even though they were mid-renovation without laundry facilities, they helped me and got me sorted to do laundry.

Funky little hostel in a great setting. We had a double room with shared facilities. The room was small but beautifully decorated, as was the whole building - a lot of the visitors are surfers, which was reflected in the decor. The owner was kind and friendly and the village was pretty. I only wish we'd arrived earlier in the day and had time to see more of Easkey; as it was, we had an evening walk down to the beach and saw sea otters swimming. Oh, and they have a very cute pet rabbit.
The communal areas might be crowded if the hostel was fully booked. Not a dislike so much as something to bear in mind.

Lovely little stay last night. Had everything we needed, fab location along the wild Atlantic way! Walking distance to the beach and a shop right next door. We especially loved the resident bunny, Jumpy. We lit the stove for a cosy night! Nice hot, powerful shower and kept very clean. Highly recommend, wish we could stay longer. Thanks!

Small family business. Really cozy and well kept. Attention to detail is kept. Everything is clean, beds are comfy and breakfast is good. There is a cute bunny to show you around :)

The essence and nature of Irish Hospitality. The beautiful hosting family you cannot avoid falling in love with them.
The only pub nearby has no card machine, and in the shop next door there is only wine available in the off licence, no beer or whiskey.

Super friendly host! The shared square is really nice and is the home of the cutest bunny.
The bathroom and kitchen were really, really small (they were clean! Just very minimalistic) The bed wasn’t too comfortable.

Lovely little hostel, real chill stay in a small village along the wild Atlantic way. Had a great bbq area, completely covered so despite the unrelenting rain we could still have a fun bbq night. Host was super easy to contact.

Nice place with room for up to 6 people. Liked the vibes.
The upper beds are more for children than adults. Everyone had a really hard time climbing up and down + felt instable. Mattress very thin.
