we loved the location to the beach. we loved the airiness, and freedom of the kitchen and seating area.

the bathroom - toilet, sink and shower set up. we didnt like that the sink to wash our hands was outside the toilet area. we didn't like the flimsy shower rail set up.

My room was super cosy and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and lovely. I really loved my stay and I hope to be back soon !

Definitely would not recommend.

Staff were lovely. Gentleman who checked me in and lovely girl doing breakfast in the morning. Room was warm and clean.

It was incredibly noisy. A very large group were booked in together. Cars arriving late, doors slamming, kitchen appliances beeping etc late into night and all repeated at 6.30am. No hot water in shower in the morning. Room extremely basic, no tv. Breakfast poor quality. Very overpriced hostel.

I felt it was a bit pricey especially for the time of year. other than that it was lovely. There was not much to dislike. Maybe a little better variety for breakfast given that it is quite expensive.

Lovely spot in a perfect location

The Nest was extremely clean and very welcoming. It immediately felt like home in the best way. It is also in an incredible location - just steps away from the beach and several great cafes and restaurants. It’s also very close to the bus stop which is helpful if you are travelling without a car. The staff were welcoming and helpful and kept the place super clean.

+ very nice staff + good kitchen + you can book surf lessons

- extremely small double room - bad quality sheets - uncomfortable bathrooms (very small sink, no space to put any of your stuff, and if you’re the last to shower you will get very cold water) - no towels included or hairdryer (even though it’s listed on Booking) - loud doors… It’s not worth the price.

Very warm welcome at reception and guide of the premises and facility was very useful. Cup of tea on arrival was well received. Car parking was very close to the building. Breakfast was very nice.

The best of Irish hospitality!

Location fantastic! But a special mention has to go to the team who were outstanding. From the cup of tea in arrival to having my boots dried! The hospitality was exceptional! Facilities..very comfortable bed and clean and tidy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. It clean they are passionate to do a good job and to make you welcome! I’d highly recommend if you’re visiting Strandhill!

Je ne m’attendais pas à une auberge de jeunesse malgré tout notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Je trouve le prix exagéré pour une auberge de jeunesse hors saison, j’ai payé le même prix que 2 nuits à Belfast ! Avec le recul, ce n’était pas du tout justifié!! Le petit déjeuner était très léger pour le prix de la chambre :café ou thé,un fruit et une tranche de pain de mie.

Die Kochtöpfe in der sonst sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche waren nicht zu verwenden (die Emaille auf den Böden löste sich, so dass auch schon Rostflecken vorhanden waren. Diese sollten also dringend ersetzt werden.

床单，个人觉得床单不太适合亚洲人的皮肤。建议换成纯棉的床单。

eine Nacht in Strandhill

Es war ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Bar gegenüber ist empfehlenswert. Ansonsten ist es ein kleines einfaches Hostel und sehr sauber.

Die Matratze war extrem weich und das Zimmer/Bett war noch kleiner als erwartet.
