Our room was small but comfortable with everything we needed for our two nights. It had a large wardrobe and dresser to store/hang our clothes. We appreciated that we could open a couple of the windows on our second night as it got sunny and warmed our room during the day but cooled nicely at night. The house was located far off the road and was very peaceful. We had a lovely view from our room and enjoyed seeing and hearing the 3 donkeys they own. Breakfast was delicious!
It was a little more remote than we expected.

The most fabulous breakfast of our whole trip to Ireland! Thank you Peggy for all the tips and ideas of places to visit and places to eat. There is plenty to do round this area if you like exploring 😃 Downpatrick well worth a visit

The property was quiet, relaxing and comfortable. Peggy was so very helpful and the breakfast was great - good homely cooking.
Hillcrest Farm is tucked away off road. It can be hard to find, and our satnav took us on a mystery tour before we found it. But once found, all good!
