Very average. The small double bed & noisy road made the stay uncomfortable. Also the room was very warm.

Host neither welcoming nor helpful, I needed transportation into the next town and all I got was a card with a phone number and the words 'probably he won't do it because it's a part time taxi and he works early...' Be aware Gurteen is a town where the last bus is at 9 pm, no taxi service and even Uber bailed 5 min before the requested time (23h30) - so a car is an absolute obligation! Regarding the room, I really don't know what laundry detergent is used in this B&B but upon getting into the room the smell was so strong, it gave me a headache, which was a pity since the mattress was quite good... Overall a very disappointing experience.

We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. Didn’t get to sample breakfast as we had an early start. Easy parking and easy checkout too.Not sure if it was the owner but the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming and informative . Wed Definitely stay again .

Everything looked very clean but there was a fairly strong smell of dogs each time we entered the room so wouldn’t recommend for anyone with pet allergies. The host was very friendly and accommodating on breakfast time although we had to leave prior.

We had an amazing time staying at Church View! The room was comfortable, cozy, and clean! The host was super nice and friendly! The room was facing the street, but it was quiet during the night! We had to sleep with the window open because it was really hot on that day, but it was great! The breakfast was delicious and super fresh! Loved it! I would definitely recommend Church View B&B!

After a bit of a mix up with payment in advance everything was as expected. The room was held for us I’m glad to say. A clear system for breakfast, which was helpful and food was nicely cooked to order . The room was spacious and we were able to get BBC on the TV!

Everything was great. Large room with 2 beds. Bed was comfortable and had many pillows. Everything was perfect. The best part was the breakfast. There was plenty to choose from and the food was excellent.

The property was excellent. The manner in which your organization handled my booking was of the lowest standard imaginable. Your website allowed me to change the dates on line, and when I returned to the page the details were wiped. I hope the proprietor did not have to pay you commission, because your role the matter did more harm than good. Were it not for the fact that I know the people personally, I could have been left without accommodation in Gurteen. You have an appalling cheek to request me to complete a survey. My advice to others would be ‘ do not deal with Expedia.

Jacci (the lady in charge) was incredibly helpful (lending me her straighteners when I forgot mine!) and she was very friendly. Breakfast was fresh, home-cooked and yummy. There is also secure parking. Very small minor issue - Only given 1 very small sachet of shower gel and shampoo per person. This was not replenished the next day. We therefore had to buy more shower gel and shampoo. However all in all, definitely highly recommend this property. Keep up the great work Jacci :) xx

This was our first visit to Churchview Gorteen. We stayed for three nights bed & breakfast. The room was lovely and very clean. The owner name is Jackie who we can't rate highly enough, she is very friendly and helpful, there were at lease five choices of breakfast on the menu which would suit everyone. Churchview is very close to Knock around thirty five minutes, Galway around one hour thirty minutes so this was the ideal place for us to stay. We rate this bed & breakfast 10+, excellent, fantastic service will definitely go back again. Brendan & Elizabeth
