Andresna house was absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful home in a gorgeous location. Andy was a super host and thought of everything. Including being very attentive to me being Coeliac and making the most gorgeous breakfast for us before we left.

Second time there. Very quiet and comfortable place, always good to relax e recharge yourself
The check in is too late for the time of a check out, you have 19 hours in the property only if you stay one day. And having to book a exactly time for the check in was not very convenient as I like to be free to get at the time that I wish at the property as normally I stop in some places before as it’s a long journey.

This is one of the most beautiful places you can stay. The house is incredible - the rooms are gorgeous and the artwork on the walls so interesting. The direct view to the private lakeshore is exceptional. Andy, the host, was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable.
It is not a negative, but the only consideration is that it is a bit out of the way and it is a 15min drive to get dinner. Andy provided lots of local recommendations which was great and the restaurant we went to was excellent.

The pictures in the listing don’t do the property justice. Absolutely stunning!
Nothing. It was an amazing experience. If I had to pick something it would be to have the sign at the entrance updated so it’s easier to see-identify and maybe a sign at the top of the drive to point you into the b&b so you don’t accidentally take the entrance to the living quarters. But that’s very much nit-picking

A magnificent, historic manor house in a charming rural location by a lake. Perfection in every detail. A refreshing swim in the lake is a must :)

This guest house was exceptional. We were made very welcome, offered two drawing rooms to relax in. There was beautiful artwork tastefully displayed throughout the house, the bed was very comfortable and everywhere was extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious and ingredients were locally sourced. We could not have wished for a more lovelier place to spend the night. A short walk to the Lough shore was also enjoyed.
Truthfully nothing. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

The property is stunning with period elegance and beautiful, artistic decor. The location on the shores of the Lough is also spectacular, although we weren’t able to fully explore due to our tight schedule and the rain! The box sprung mattresses were exceptionally comfortable. The host was super welcoming and put on a lovely, organic, cooked breakfast.
The only slight drawback for us was the lack of tea making facilities in the rooms. Good quality hot drinks could be made in the dining room, but if you like multiple cups this is a little inconvenient.

Very comfortable beds and nice room away from the big House…we were going to a wedding and they allowed us to check in early to change and they gave us all the info we needed to sort a taxi out .. only downside was there was no full length mirror in the room

It was fantastic…Andresna House is really exquisite. The owner Andy was so attentive and friendly. The attention to detail was outstanding. I even experienced some cold water therapy in the Loch in the morning, prompted by the owner. The art throughout was beautiful…I really couldn’t fault it. The cooked breakfast was yummy, not your average cooked breakfast, cooked in ghee, from the farmers market, organic where possible…. The room smelt amazing, no TV, which is right up my street. The bed linen, towels etc were top quality, everything smelled amazing, even the inside of the wardrobe smelt beautiful. I will absolutely return if I return to Boyle or surrounding areas and I would highly recommend, especially if you are looking for some quiet and quality.

Gorgeous accommodation, wonderful scenery. House is beautiful, rooms are spacious and toilets very clean with great showers. Andy was also very nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. A fantastic range of options not often seen in b&bs. Honestly, it is as good as any hotel, if not better. Would recommend it to anyone.
Nothing all good.

Extremely rude and unprofessional host. No remorse for unforeseen circumstances. I would recommend that he completes a course on customer care

My sister and I stayed in June. It was a lovely overnight stay and my only quibble was I could not stay another few days. It is like a little escape from the fast hectic world we live in. There is a lovely calmness to the property and the attention to detail is obvious in every room. Breakfast was a treat with some wonderful local honey available. The 'ivy' honey was delicious. You can see the owners have a focus on good quality.....food, furnishings, linen. Lots of room to sit and relax in the house and also outside seating to enjoy the gardens. Really enjoyed our stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending

The setting and the house was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was beautifully set out and delicious. The view over the loch, the cows in the next field, the country lane leading up to the house and the gardens exceeded expectations.
The house is a little far from neighboring towns (restaurants). We didn't feel as welcome there as in other bed and breakfasts where we stayed in Ireland. We were cautioned to stay away from the owner's dwelling because of the guard dogs. I am 73 years old and the owner made me feel like I was a small child about to break something in Granny's house. He was very uptight about breakfast proceedings.

Treat yourself to this luxurious B & B. Aside from being lakefront, Lough Arrow, Andresna House boasts a spectacular walled garden and apple orchard and the house is filled with gorgeous art and literature. My room was gorgeous and comfortable, bathroom totally modernized with the very best. My shower was divine. The breakfast starts with fresh yogurt, bread, jam, butter, delicious cheeses, granola, muesli and fruit. I was stuffed before the hot breakfast even came out. Andy made me poached eggs upon request and fresh sausage, bacon and grilled, seasoned vegetables. It was delicious. Today I visit the very beautiful Boyle Abbey and Castle Island on Lough Key. I wish I booked more than one night at this very special place.
I loved everything!
