Excellent location. Anthony was very helpful providing information for dinner and bus connections. Breakfast was quick and nourishing. All said, a very good choice for a small hotel in an Irish village.

Anthony and his wife were very welcoming hosts, Anthony was more than willing to give us breakfast xtra early. Breakfast is superb - one of the very best we've got anywhere. 10/10

Our room was at the front of the house, traffic going up and down was noisy, only because it was very warm and we needed to keep one of the windows open. With the windows closed this would not have been too much of an issue.

Lovely small period hotel, with quirky features, great food and hosts.

This is a lovely period hotel and restaurant. Lots of interesting features. Comfortable room, great size and very clean. Food is beautiful so do have breakfast whilst you stay. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Was able to park outside the hotel.

I have no complaints about this hotel. Just be aware that eating out options in Charlestown are limited in the week. So you may need to travel further to properly eat out. Some of the local pubs did not provide food but there are some quick takeaway options.

Lovely host and place , we will be back if visiting the area again.

Had a lovely welcome as soon as we arrived . The property was absoluley spotlessly clean . Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was worth the trip to Ireland for the breakfast alone , absolutely fabulous !! We would most certainly stay again or recomend to anyone visiting the area .

A great stay in Charlestown Ireland

Friendly welcome and stay. A great Irish breakfast with some fine home baking. Clean room and facilities. Great location for touring around north Mayo and southern Sligo. Good WiFi.

Working Trip

I was greeted with a warm welcome from Anthony who quickly got me checked in. My room was clean, tidy and spacious and a comfy bed meant a good night sleep. Breakfast in the morning offered a selection of cereal, fresh fruit and juices, followed by a fantastic Full Irish Breakfast!

The location was great; right in the center of town and truly next to a river! The breakfast was excellent and plentiful with great choices! If you are one or two people, try to get the table by the window where you can watch the town wake up! The building is very old so there are some quirky slants to the floors, but that just added to the charm. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.
