The staff were lovely and it’s a very fancy looking hotel.
The toilet and shower just had a glass pane between them making the bathroom either side very narrow

Good big spacious room. And a comfortable bed.Great selection of foods at the breakfast.
I think some rooms near us were in repairs but I heard pipes rattling in the middle of the night which awakened me a couple of times. Most annoying.

We stayed for 2 nights and found it to be a great location next to the train station. Clean, comfortable rooms. Lovely , helpful staff and great food. There was music in the bar in one of the nights which was a treat too.

A lovely traditional hotel full of character very clean & comfortable!

The hotel is situated in a good central location. We booked two bedrooms which were comfortable & spacious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
One member of staff at breakfast was very rude and not customer focused in our opinion she is not suited to her role. She requires customer focused training we had a very unpleasant conversation and interaction with her which we reported to the receptionist she was helpful and informed management. The manager was friendly and provided tea/orange juice and toast to our room which was appreciated

Location is extremely close to transport & the town.
Given that it is a 4 star!! & the price ..
The food available & availability is really not great, we had pizza one evening & even the kids were disappointed & did not finish.
Thankfully there are some fantastic Brunch locations within a 10 walk.

Room quite large . Used single bed only . Room was very clean and well laid out. Providing water and some snacks was a novel and well appreciated idea. Breakfast one morning which was of a high standard.
I had no problem parking but had the hotel been full there would have been a problem. Unsure how you sort that one.

It was good and hot easy to find everything.
Happy to have been able to enjoy our stay

The location was pretty good. We were able to walk to the quayside area in 10 minutes and there were some good sights and pubs in the area.
When we left, we used the stair lift to take our luggage down but it jammed and needed a staff member to come and reset it. In order to reset it she had to call another staff member on her phone and get instructions.

The staff are so lovely
Everything else, bugs coming out of the walls, shower you’d almost need a history degree to figure out, room was tiny every night going to the bathroom we stubbed a toe, mattress on bed desperately needs replacing, gym is like a museum, pool tiny. Lovely people but the €450 for two nights was an absolute gouging. I don’t mind a rustic stay if the price reflects it but feels like we were massively ripped off.

Love this hotel. Likely my first point of call when staying in Sligo. I have no hesitation in recommending it to fellow travellers!

Good location and parking
The beds were extremely hard and very very uncomfortable, the room was swelteringly hot. We did not sleep at all as we were so uncomfortable. There were a lot of steps to go up and down and no one to help with the cases.

Seeing two complimentary packets of Tayto crisps on arrival was lovely. They didn't last long! The bar and lounge area was very sumptuous. With deep comfortable velvet sofas and chairs. The hotel is central. The town centre was just a ten minute walk - to bars and restaurants
All good

Right behind the bus station. Entrance through the bar avoids many steps. Walk ti town in 5 minutes. Lobby very cozy with fireplaces and bar.
Breakfast was fine but expected more from great place.

Convenient location for access to all tourist sites and for walk to city centre. Large car park.
Very pleasant staff.
Excellent price point with sizeable rooms, furnishings, lounges and gym facilities above expected. (We didn’t use restaurant or sizeable pool.)
Usual tea, coffee, water supplemented by Tayto crisps in a nice touch. However note bathroom products minimal.
We were on top floor so amazing mountain views.
Rooms quiet, except one near lift.
Nearby lift noisy at night.

Room was unbearably hot as the outside window was onto a cloister area so no air flow and no air con. Window was broken (handle was not attached) and this was reported on arrival but nothing was done. We were told on arrival to book dinner as there would be nothing available in town on a Monday. That wasn't true and I got served cold battered fish and chips in the bar of the hotel (only the fish was cold). If the staff hadn't been so sweet I would have complained.
The staff were lovely, the location was great. The hotel has potential if some minor issues are addressed. Wouldn't stay again though.

Reception area really cosy. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Good facilities in room...tv, kettle, iron. Central location. Parking close to front entrance.
Breakfast was charged as extra and quite expensive for what we would usually eat, so we decided to eat out

The hotel was spotlessly clean. My bedroom was spacious. The shower was great. I love that the hotel promotes sustainability in various ways. The food was really good and the staff were the nicest and friendliest I’ve ever met in a hotel. And the room rate was very reasonable.
The hotel decor is dated and could do with some internal upgrades. It’s quite dark in the hallways to the bedrooms.

Great location, next to the train station and a couple of minutes walk into Sligo itself. Onsite carpark which is very handy. Lovely building, beautifully decorated. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clear and spacious, and the little welcome touches of the desserts and snacks was a lovely and unexpected touch that is very appreciated. The bed was especially comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet at night which made for good nights' sleep. Breakfast is in a lovely room downstairs and has everything you could want. The bar is really nice and cozy.
No negatives to note!

The location is great
Very dated. Beds not comfortable. Rooms very small.

The location was absolutely perfect, in the heart of Sligo but far enough from the loudest pubs and bars. Rooms were nice and clean.
Breakfast was average, for €16.00 per person I would have expected a higher quality of pastries and juices. Irish breakfast was ok. The room was way too hot, and not having any thermostat or a/c unit we had to sleep with the window open. I'd expect more from a 4 stars hotel.

loved the location and the lovely hotel. The reception staff. Dylan and Keeley were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for them, Some of the bar staff were not as friendly. but that wouldn't put me off coming again. Just love staying there. Hope to be back next year.
Friendlier bar staff.
