Clayton Hotel & Leisure Club Sligo

Everything from start to finish was absolutely wonderful. Great,spacious room and great breakfast.Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Good location, car parking available. Meals similar to the other hotels we visited- no issues. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Room service was always late in the day and we had to ask for new towels and tea/coffee replacements.

There was an outdoor game of golf at the back of the property, my child loved it, we got great use from that. Also, a "fairy trail" beside the golf, you get a little map, takes 10mins. The room was a great size for the 3 of us, clean and had a fridge. There was a kids club from 6 until 9pm (we didnt avail of this) but great for parents that need a break, parents can also stay. Great variety of breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful in the restaurant. Food was lovely.

Our room was next to an emergency exit stair case, kids were running up and down the stairs and accross the hall past our room until after midnight, slamming the door behind them. The room next to us seemed to be a connecting room, im not sure if all rooms are the same but the neighbours next to us were very loud drinking until 3am. The kids pool isn't very big at all, not much them to do at the pool if they cant swim, which my child couldn't. No private changing rooms at the pool and no family changing facility, just a male room and female room. We couldn't change in the toilets either as the floor everywhere is understandably very wet.
