Excellent location and Accommodation q

We enjoyed our short stay at Strandhill Lodge and Suites Hotel. Check-in was welcoming and allowed us to book an evening meal at a nearby restaurant. Our room had a balcony with a distant sea view. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast offered an array of good options. Excellent parking onsite. A good location to explore that area of the country.

Unfortunately our room wasn't serviced on our second day. We relied on the kindness of the night porter to replenish some tea/coffee, fresh towels and toilet roll.

Only issue we had was the room was very warm and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the air conditioning. We didn’t ask for help because as it was late. But I’m sure if we did ask for her it would’ve been sorted outside of that everything was excellent.

WE were looking for a comfortable stay outside the city and this property was very nice for us.

Room was large with large, comfortable double bed. Bathroom was very modern. Water heat and pressure were great. Continental breakfast was fine. Fresh fruit was good. Reception team was very helpful with local information and ideas for activities in the area.,

The location was excellent and while they don't have a dining room the Pub next door was great for dinner. The staff were wonderful and the bed comfortable. And parking behind the Hotel is great

I gave the Hotel an 8 rather than a 10 as the room and balcony, although spacious, needs some freshening up. You have to step over a sill and onto a freestanding little wooden (I think it was wooden) step to get onto the balcony. This was quite rickety and didn't feel quite stable. the balcony also, incl furniture needed a freshen up. Breakfast was average.

A gem

We had a 2 night stay and found the whole experience was top class. Our large room with balcony was very comfortable, and overlooked the links golf course to the sea. The staff were very friendly and very helpful - I left my chargers behind, and they have offered to post these to me. The self-serve continental breakfast was great, and plentiful. Top marks, we will be back.

The location, the quality, the welcome, the room, the balcony and the view! The continental breakfast is simple but it serves the purpose. Hams, cheeses, fruits, breads, cereals, granola mix, good coffee, tea, juices!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was upgraded to a balcony room over looking the sea. "Continental" breakfast was beyond excellent. Great variety to choose from. Location was great, right next door to a couple of lovely pubs, and a short walk to Strandhill sea front. Very convenient for climbing Knocknarea.

Great weekend at the Standstill Lodges and Suites Boutique hotel.

Location and amenities were amazing the view from our balcony of the ocean really set it apart from the other establishments. Would stay here again.

Perfect, relaxing break by the sea

Very comfortable, staff were excellent and the added bonus of the lovely breakfast each morning was wonderful. Large room with a great bed and cotton sheets meant a great nights sleep too. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets from the balcony. The walk down to Strandhill itself was short and we stuck gold with beautiful weather so it meant we could be outdoors most of the time each day. We had a lovely meal at the Venue next door on our first night. The hotel reception has excellent free maps for local walks and further info should you need it. We would love to come back sometime. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so special and memorable.

Good location- close to Strandhill beach and few spots to enjoy nature and recharging. Room was clean and spacious and had a nice view to the ocean.

No air conditioning, unfortunately I am a light sleeper so the air ventilator can’t be an option as it is noisy. I would have liked a cooked breakfast (eggs and bacon)- think was probably the saddest breakfast options I seen in Ireland unfortunately.

Really friendly and a great location. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and we had a balcony with a sea view. The continental buffet breakfast was also excellent.
