An experience I hope to forget asap

So run down , web pics must be ten years old A corner unit toppled on to my wife, bruising and cutting her head. Reported it to a lady that lived in one of the rentals , not offered to put in the accident book , no one asked how she was Heating stopped working, again only person available was this lady Patio furniture was unusable so black with mould no outside lights, none of the lawn areas had been cut . The cost to stay here is extortionate for the quality of accommodation

Lovely setting for a relaxing family holiday

Location excellent , quiet but central . Saw 2 people who were great , neither the owner but that was no problem.The animal feeding and tractor rides really lovely , so much fun, used the field to play football , on wet days they enjoyed the games room too. Cottage well equipped in the kitchen living room etc .we thought easy to locate . Owners responded fast , although they were extremely busy . Would stay again definitely

Probably more personal choice but my double bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the camp bed was noisy and not st all Comfortable, but we Did away with that and managed well.

Good location close to Looe and Polperro. Had the best weather so a lovely holiday was had by all.

A farm location which the kids loved, they enjoyed a pony ride, tractor rides and held the guinea pigs. Nice large cottage.

The living room smelt strongly of soot from the log burner. The floorboards upstairs were so noisy and the only WC was upstairs. With young children you needed to tread very carefully up there once they were asleep so as not to wake them up.

A charming, comfortable property set in a fabulous location!

A really charming property that was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Lovely main living area and good size bedrooms. Plenty of parking available and thought the outside play area and animals to see were great (kept my niece entertained for a good few hours!).

A little tired in the bathrooms and more useable enclosed outside space would have been great. Loved the idea of the play room which we used however noticed some mice droppings!

Good location , very safe if you have small children.

Needed updating. Door to front and back had huge gaps that you could see daylight . Desperately in need of new doors. Quality of mattresses very poor. Very uncomfortable night sleep. Did not see any staff from arrival to departure.

Amazing!! We loved every minute!

We’ve just returned home from a lovely few days at Polean Farm Cottages. My daughters had so much fun, they were so sad to leave the Guinea pigs and would love to visit again! 🥰 I asked to book an out of season animal feeding session and the lady who I messaged was so helpful and friendly. We met with Simon for this session and he was very friendly and patient with us. We collected some fresh eggs for breakfast too and they were delicious! Thank you very much, we will be returning again ☺️

Peaceful quiet time to enjoy yourself and the beauty of nature.

We have stayed in the Mealhouse. The nicest little cottage! Exceptional cleanliness, perfect location, lovely staff, unforgettable experience with the farm animals. So peaceful and quiet. It was lovely to see horses walking just outside the window. Easy to locate the farm. Swimming pool 7minutes away. Beach 10minutes drive. Enjoyed every second of our stay and definitely will come back again. 5*

The beds were creaky, travel cot desperately needs replacing as had to improvise with a bedspread then cover with sheet to make it half decent. The bathroom is ancient and needs updating (probably not updated since the 60’s.

All in all a bit disappointing, 'lack of presence and we felt the cottages are left to run themselve

It was peaceful and the pony ride was great, on time and Lisa was friendly.

The accommodation wasn't the cleanest. There was dog hair (despite selecting non pet property) cobwebs and toilet smelt of wee. I didn't like that no one was on site to welcome us or for when we needed assistance I tried calling Marie but there was no answer. We had no tin opener there and had to borrow from another guest until supplied the next next with one. There was no signage or map provided to show where the laundry room was and we didn't even realise there was reception until day 3, with leaflets etc. The lock in the door that was open on arrival did not work so we had to try our best to lock it and then use the kitchen door. There is also a mouse sized hole on bottom corner of kitchen door. The guinea pig petting chap didn't arrive until almost 9:30am we tried to call Marie to check if it was happening but no answer. The guinea pig also had a visible flea on it so I would recommend using a spot on treatment for this. It didn't enhance the stay by having no welcome folder in the property, with some maps of local walks and information. This would be a really positive touch, I'm only 45 and happy to use the internet but we felt this detracted from rather than added to our stay. Every other house we've stayed in left a cake or welcome note, which goes a long way.

Good location, but that was all that we liked.

The location.

The bed in the main bedroom was so uncomfortable (far too soft and springy) we had to sleep in single beds in the other bedroom. The shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold. The staircase was unbelievably noisy, even to the point that our small dog woke us up walking up and down them at night. Overall the cottage (Twinkles) was in need of some TLC. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this accommodation.

The property was in a very nice quiet location, it felt very homely and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and anything you might need to prepare food.

The heating system was very loud and didn’t seem to work overnight it just made very loud banging noises.

Beautiful quiet location. The Mealhouse had plenty of space with a fully equipped kitchen.

The Mealhouse was much larger than it looked on the website and had a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfy. Everything was clean and comfortable. The views were spectacular and it was such a peaceful area. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Easy parking next to the cottage with no through traffic. Totally recommend for an escape from reality. Perfect. Wish we could have stayed forever.

We wanted a chilled week and the farm was perfect for that.

Loved Twinkles cottage. It was clean and well equipped. The location was beautiful and not far to drive into Looe. It was perfect for a relaxing break. We received an email from the staff that was really informative and useful. We didn't see any staff but we were given contact telephone numbers in case we needed someone.

Property already open on arrival. Large lounge, well equipped kitchen.

Nearly impossible to contact hosts, due to poor mobile signal. No shower screen in main bathroom. Bedroom 3 far too hot due to h/w cylinder in room. 3 radiators did not work.

Superb, we loved the building which became our home for a few days.

Location was good and the accommodation was upgraded at no additional cost - it was a beautiful and spacious barn conversion, full of comfort and modern amenities whilst retaining its original features, character and charm. Logs were provided for the wood burner, the large kitchen was fully equipped and the living room was huge. It was also nice that "Little Owls" had its own driveway, separate to the other buildings which made it private. It was great that the kids could meet and feed some of the animals and the rural setting was perfect, whilst still being just a short drive from the complimentary swimming pool.

The games room could use some TLC, other than that, the property was superb.
