This was an ideal place ruined by poor comms between the owners of the site and the property.

Location good

The lodge was self-catering and a restaurant on site was advertised. I took breakfast food with me and intended to use the restaurant but it was closed. NOBODY TOLD ME !!! so I had to buy food and prepare it. Yuk!

Location

Staff and some amenities was not appropriate. Its old property not worth it according the money. Outside lamp lights were not working properly. Upstairs room lights were not working. Bathroom flush was shit. Not enough toilet papers. Some heater and room lamps not working appropriately.

Great location for a stay / work in Bodmin

We were working on the hospital in Bodmin and was easy to get to. We didn't use the pool area as by the time we finished work it had shut, which would have been lovely to use to relax us.

We had a really good time coming home to comfort every day.

It was clean and well stocked. Good to have a large freezer but better to have known in advance. Beds were very comfy .

No local information about where was good to go. There were leaflets but no personal recommendations. Husband found it hard to shave with the sloping mirror. Hard to find fault with anything.

Attractive family friendly holiday home.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and family friendly. Well equipped and heated with heated towel rails and washer/ dryer. Problem with a tap speedily dealt with. Attractive lodge in beautiful grounds with lots of green space between each lodge. Loved the warm pool! We appreciated having the essentials provided, such as the dishwasher tablets and washing- up and hand wash liquid.

Could do with shoe rack and coat stand .. . But maybe that's just because we had heavy rain!

The house was lovely. Plenty of space for us all. Really enjoyed our stay

Bedding could have been better, maybe options for a second double duvet (we turned one twin room into a double pushing bed together so a double duvet would have been handy. Extra pillows would have helped too. Unfortunately repeatedly issue with upstairs toilet which they did resolve on first night bur did persist. Would benefit from bigger coffee cups too but overall we had a great time

The property exceeded our expectations, it was larger than we were expecting. It was well furnished, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were not expecting to have two bathrooms in the property and enjoyed the luxury of the whirlpool bath and the large shower upstairs. All of the beds were very comfortable.

Quality of tennis equipment . Shop closed between 11 and 2. Rubbish skips visible around tennis courts. Bar area unlit in day, rather dark and unwelcoming.

Great place, very peaceful and enjoyed walks around the lodges. Escape room was fun and enjoyable.

Segway was closed. There was no cafe for breakfast or any food options in morning/noon time.

Really enjoyed our stay.

Really liked the layout of the lodge and the quality, the facilities in the lodge were great. Good sized rooms, lovely bathrooms. Really clean.

The only criticism I can say is that the position of our lodge was by the path where everyone walks to the restaurant and people kept looking in. I would definitely stay again but would want a different position. Felt a little bit like being in a goldfish bowl.

Good location for walks from Bodmin, the lodge is lovely though facilities were closed

Nice lodge with spacious rooms, great bath with water jets, good kitchen with washing machine and dish washer. WiFi was good, both tv’s worked well. The bed was comfortable so we slept well after a day of walking.

The 1st lodge we were offered was not clean - hair ball in the bathroom drawer, Crumbs under the toaster, tissue paper on the floor, discarded book and lipstick under the bed, damp smell from water leak, etc. Fortunately after complaining we were offered another lodge which was much better. Would have preferred towels included like our last booking here but we were asked to bring our own this time.
