Comfortable room, comfortable bed, good bathroom.
Nice cooked breakfast.
Glad to find a nice 'local' hotel to stay in after the RAC let us down. Friendly staff.
Traffic noise
'Continental' breakfast wasn't as described - no croissants, fresh fruit or natural yogurt. Poor coffee.

Excellent meals, comfortable bed, spacious grounds good for dog excercise.
With dog (well behaved) had to sit in a separate room of restaurant, only person there which was lonely.
Bedroom and wardrobe in annex would have been rather small for two people.
Entrance gateway hard to find in the dark on twisty main road with plenty of traffic, so difficult to go slowly searching. Put a light or reflective strips on gateway would be a great help.

convenient location at a budget price, plenty of parking. The receptionist and breakfast server were very pleasant and helpful
Room was in a converted cottage not in the main building, room was quite small, which was difficult with our disability
breakfast was very busy as there only appeared to be one person cooking and serving, beans were only luke warm and hash browns were barely cooked. "orange juice" "Jaffa Gold" tasted full of sweeteners
