Good value for money and very clean

Lovely, large and clean dog friendly van. Really handy to have the venue onsite and the swimming pool for the kids. Great location next to Porth beach with lovely coastal walks and plenty of safe spaces for children to play.

Could do with a few more cooking utensils and a mattress topper. Wasn’t much of an issue as we stayed 4 nights but had we have stayed longer, the bed may have got a bit more uncomfortable.

Great location and facilities, shame about the dog hair...

We liked the location, site layout, pool facility, on site shop and evening family entertainment. We stayed during half term week and the site wasn't too busy and didn't feel overcrowded. There were no issues with noise etc. It's a lovely clean site and we had great views of the hills and cows from our caravan. Caravan also had a dishwasher and washing machine which was a huge bonus. Tv had all the usual apps and channels (netflix, Disney etc). Kids loved the pool which we saw being cleaned regularly.

The caravan carpet and sofas were not clean. There was white dog hair all over the carpet and armchair we noticed on our childrens clothes after the first day. Carpets should be hoovered between guests. Also you should consider changing the name of the booking types as there was no mention in our booking that this was a pet friendly caravan. If any guests were allergic these pet hairs would have been an even worse issue.

Newquay bay

Stayed at newquay bay a few times now and always had a nice time but unfortunately this time the caravan was not the same as before

We paid for 2 luxury vans 1 was lovely but unfortunately we noticed quite a few dead flies inside the van and around the decking, we were told by the maintenance man that they have this problem every year with the change in season so we bought some fly spray and got on with it, the 2nd van was a totally different van and definitely not a luxury van, the van was dirty the chairs and carpet with filthy and had the same problem with the flies. We booked 2 luxury 4 berth vans and after speaking to whoever online they told me that we had been upgraded to a 6 and 8 berth which made no sense when there was only 2 adults in each van, I asked why would you upgrade us to that with only 2 in each van and I just got ignored, like I said 1 van was lovely the other was totally unacceptable

Luxury?

We liked the view from our caravan. The beds were comfy and the parking space was very handy. The staff at the front desk were friendly and the maintenance men were helpful. Also the cleaning lady who brought us the hoover was friendly.

When we first entered our caravan there was a strong smell of food in the main family area. That smell didn't disappear untill a few days into our stay. There was a very strong smell in the smaller bedroom which we could only describe as cannabis? That smell stayed with us the whole of our duration (10 days) it didn't fade, it remained as strong as when we first entered. There was also a cigarette burn in the sheet in the same bedroom. We stayed in a pet friendly caravan as we have a small red shorthaired dachshund but there was long black dog hairs everywhere, floors, sofas, work surfaces in the kitchen, in the draws, in the beds (these we assume should be changed after every stay? But the same black hairs were in the sheets) We understand its a pet friendly caravan but that means we are staying somewhere where pets are welcome? Not that we have to stay in other people's pet hair? We assume it hadn't been hoovered after the last occupants as there was far to much everywhere. The bathroom was also covered in hair both human and dog with thick dust around the edges. There were signs it had been cleaned but we are assuming it was a basic wipe over of some areas. We reported all of this to customer services with a photo of what we had swept up just from the kitchen and hallway. We asked for a hoover at which they did offer to hoover the caravan but we felt we wanted to do this ourselves as we have a 3 year old with us and wanted to know it had been done. One of the cleaners had said about the smell in the caravan and that they had tried to get rid of it and offered to try again but we asked for a air freshener as we had just had a 6 hour drive and just wanted to get on with our holiday. We also mentioned there was no remote for the fireplace and that it wasn't heating up in the caravan.

Very good site

Site staff were friendly and welcoming, very easy check in and no fuss at all. Caravan was really well equipped, full size fridge/freezer, good cooker and microwave, really good TV, all the crockery, pots and pans you'd need, very comfortable sofa and beds, and was the cleanest caravan we've ever stayed in. No damp spots, no stains, nothing. I don't know how old the caravan was but looked almost new. Good on-site shop which is handy if you forgot the milk... Indoor pool is quite big, and there's a bit of a cafe if you want drinks. 15 minute walk to the seafront, and down in a little valley so is very peaceful at night. A few farms close by so if you can't sleep you can literally count sheep 🤣 Overall it's a great site and we will 100% be visiting again.

There is NO mobile signal at all in the caravan, and no WiFi - we couldn't understand this as the TV was connected to WiFi - unless you are in the the pool or venue, although this is mentioned when booking so we were aware, just be sure to download maps and plan ahead if you're thinking of places to visit or restaurants. Charged £4 for a coffee at the indoor pool cafe, and just over £18 for 2 pints and 2 glasses of coke in The Venue, which was a bit steep for on site, would've expected it to be cheaper to encourage people to stay and use the facilities. There is a narrow country lane to get to the seafront, which isn't very safe to walk especially if you have small children with you as there's no path for most of it, and when it starts getting dark there's no street lights either. Be careful.

All the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely.

The whole resort looked run down. The restaurant was either not open or had limited food. We ate there once, was disappointed with how limited we were and the quality.

The children enjoyed.

The location was good with easy access to Newquay using the park and ride. The accommodation was generally clean and had lots of towels to use.

The accommodation is classed as "luxury" I would have expected a dishwasher as standard. The outdoor pool was dirty and the indoor pool had plants combining in from the outside and was dirty along the poolside. The park had limited playing equipment and there wasn't much in entertainment.

Real beds in a lovely caravan with a view on the balcony. The location was amazing and great value for money. The children’s entertainment was fab too

The pool was basic and looked like it needed a good clean and upgrade. I saw a massive rat running from under a caravan towards the now empty toilet block.

Great location for boardmasters to stay in comfort with nice shower, loo and bed. Mattress was average and room was too light but it was way better than tent and if doing boardmasters as an adult I'd recommend.

It was a lovely day I very much enjoyed it it's just there was no Wi-Fi and you really do need a car

It was great I loved that they had a indoor massive swimming pool I was saddened that I didn't get to use it as I would have liked to stay longer but I was down Newquay to see my granddaughter, and really you need a car to stay on this caravan site as it is a little awkward to get the ocean you can walk up and over the hill but they're are no pavements or Sidewalks to walk on so you have to be very aware of your surroundings, and I loved how clean the caravans are and are equipped with dishwashers, we just couldn't get any Wi-Fi and my sister wasn't little disappointed, couldn't get the TV to work just to look up the weather

Wonderful and relaxing place to stay

The location is just right because we had a car so it was easy to go around Cornwall and back to the holiday park. It is close to the Porth beach and Whipsiderry mermaid pools where we had fun exploring. The view in our accommodation was absolutely breathtaking, the resort is clean and well-maintained.

We tried the indoor pool but felt that the water has very high chlorine content.

We had a great family stay but the lack of sat nav/ internet was frustrating

Good facilities on site, comfortable accommodation with plenty of cutlery, glasses, plates etc. Large en-suite double bedroom.

We were put about a 15 minute walk from the other mobile home I had booked for the other half of the family and there was no internet in the accommodation which meant communication was extremely difficult. There was almost no sat nav as the park is in a valley.

Very clean spacious. Modern lots of light comes in from the windows and glass sliding doors.

The location in the resort even though I spoke with their guest services and said about mine and my sisters invisible disabilities no transportation available to take us with our luggage to the accommodation. No one to guide us through the maze.
