The caravan had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Crumbs on the floor, fridge and cooker dirty and faeces in the toilet. The cutlery drawer was dirty and the pans belonged in the bin. The place was shabby and run down the sofas were filthy. Dirty clothes and cigarette butts outside the door, looked like someone had been living there. Really bad body odour smell. No hot water which i contacted the owners about. Very difficult conversation which ended in them saying they would call back in 5 minutes, which they didn’t. After half an hour waiting we left. Do not book this place!

Worst holiday experience I’ve ever had

Pleasant location

Check in process was ludicrous with a caravan owner that couldn’t be bothered to look after us. Left stranded for hours because she gave us the wrong check in details and accused us of going on the wrong day. Didn’t even get into our van until 8pm. Oven door didn’t shut and Kept opening while we cooked. Smoke alarm rang every 5 minutes even when nothing was switched on. Stains on furniture, mould on ceiling, shabby fittings. Not enough equipment to cook a full meal. Generally very disappointing

Location good for value but will never stay with this one again.

We really love the location. Near to the beach and short drive to town.

It’s a shame that the host/place manager is really rude. We initially asked if there are any bath towels we can hire as we left ours, but I read the reply late and we figured something else from our luggage to use as bath towels. We got homr and found some and read the a message from the host saying we it’s £10. I declined to use and pay as we don’t need it anymore. And she got angry and said that what is just £10??? She even said if I am not happy, we should just leave the place. We already paid for iur 2 night stay and we have kids with us so it was really unethical for her to say that. And i doubt that they will even refund. The place was okay but the interior is outdated and looks ragged. We also found a clothing outside the door. We ended up sleeping in the small room with iur little ones sharing the 2 single beds as the big room smells of unwashed pet. I can’t sleep as the smell makes me puke. Thank God the other room was clean and no smell at all. We stayed as we only use the place for sleeping at night anyway as most of the time we are out on the beach. So value for me is just fine. But never will I stay here again. Will find a place in this location again but maybe book directly with Away Resorts.

Arrange a proper cleaning before rent out again please

Just the location . The host was easy to contact

They property wasn’t cleaned well. There were stains on the sheets . The sheets and the sofa seems like too old or maybe didn’t had a good cleaning for ages. There was wet smell was coming the whole time from the rooms . The owner knew it we are coming but still he didn’t turned on the key for boiler so for the first night we was out of hot water and heating . He actually came in the morning to fix it after i told him.

The host was reachable. I was able to speak to the host without an issue.

When we arrived at the property the sofas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, they was a wet dog smell. Once we looked around the place, it was not up to standards for cleanliness. The fridge, microwave. oven and toilet were dirty. I cleaned the fridge door before touching it as it wasn't extremely dirty but the inside of the fridge shelf had like mold on them. The top of the microwave was dirty and if you are vegan, vegetarian, Muslim or Jewish you would have been really disappointed with the dirty roasting tray in the oven. The toilet had feces on it. It looks like someone lives there to be honest. sadly not what I expected. After speaking to the host about the issues, they apologised and offered to fix it. We had already left and once we were in the car, this women kept staring at us like making us glad we didn't stay.
