I'd go again in a heartbeat 💓

The location is perfect for a nature stroll down to the beautiful beach. The property is clean and has everything you need. The owners obviously know that dogs are part of the family and the site is set up well for them. Comfortable and wider than the standard caravan so you can sprawl out and dry your clothes.

Nothing really. Family games missing parts so we played our own but this is in no way a make or break!

Loved the location , both the lodge & of course Mawgan porth, such a peaceful chilled site, with good amenities a short stroll away . I look forward to returning one day .

Great place to stay to explore Cornwall or just relax

The location was excellent and allowed my family to explore the area. The home was bigger than I had expected and that was great. There was more than enough space for our family of 6 to chill out. The home had everything we needed and even had some games for the kids. It was located at the end of the site so was exceptionally quiet which was also great.

Some surfaces in the kitchen/dining room were not clean and still had some crumbs over them however the rest of the home was clean.

We will be booking again, preferably as soon as possible, but we cannot wait to go back. Excellent location, lovely site, the lodge was perfect and just what we needed. So impressed. We, the children and the pooches had the most wonderful weekend. Thank you!

The lodge was well appointed with comfortable sofas and beds. It was well designed and spacious. Everything needed was provided. There was a wonderful view, probably the best on the site. It was quiet and peaceful and the site was well maintained. Very helpful staff in reception/shop.

It would have been useful to have a bin for recycling.

Wonderful in every way!

The lodge was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Home from home! We couldn’t believe how spacious it was and the kids loved the bunk beds. It had amazing views and was central for Newquay and Padstow. You can even catch the evening sunset from the decking. The local village of Mawgan Porth has a nice feel too. The fishing lake on site allowed us to catch some fish!

Peaceful and tranquil lodge

The peace and quiet. Having been there during December, it was a nice break away. Not many tourists just locals. Comfy bed. Lovely touches in lodge from milk, orange juice and biscuits. Very clean and homely.

We were there in December. It is cold. Most days, frosty. Lodge was the highest on top of a hill. Road up and down can be treacherous.

Excellent accommodation, beautifully presented and gorgeous location, peaceful and 10-15 min walk to the beach. The lodge was perfect for our needs. There’s a small onsite shop but worth getting your shopping in if you’re staying for a few nights to self cater.

Some of the glasses are chipped, I actually cut myself. And I booked for 6 people and there’s only 4 towels and 4 dining chairs. But the rest are amazing, definitely will come back!
