Site amenities needing some updating no shop and bars could do with refurbishment

Property was good, clean and well provided for. A great location and easy to find. It was located amongst other holiday and private properties which were a bit tired and haphazard which reduced the kerb appeal.

We loved the location and the house facilities. It was so comfortable and we had plenty of space as a family travelling with small children. There was a lovely little enclosed garden too. I requested a travel cot and high chair which were provided with no problem.

There were several unsecured cords hanging down from the blinds in the living room which I was not comfortable with having small children with us.

It was near to our favourite beach.

It was very tired. It didn’t feel like it had been updated in the 18 years since it was built. The mattress definitely needed to be replaced, unless you like to roll into the middle on a very soft mattress! There was room for a king size bed, but it was only a double. The kitchen units were tired and damaged, there was no toilet roll holder on the downstairs loo, the blinds had seen better days, the dining chairs felt like they had no padding left and it was hot upstairs. If you left the windows open, then you let in the light. Luckily we took a fan with us. The upstairs at the back looks on to the very messy outside storage area for the site and in the summer it would be very noisy as the children’s play area was the other side of the neighbour’s back fence. We also felt it had no personal touches. The pictures were mismatched and not of Cornwall, a few homely touches would have made a big difference.
